Honey amber colored body; nice carbonation; fine, lasting off-white head, dense and creamy. Pleasantly mild sweet aroma; peach. Medium toasted malt base with a heavy boozy taste; a note of citrus; very bitter. Heavy body; strong and biting alcohol presence; hot; almost acrid.

This quadruple IPA is an interesting beast. It has some subtleties but there is no denying the underlying boozy heat. It is not as balanced as I would hope for, but it is not a complete mess either. Recommended with caution.

16 oz can from Tavour. Murky orange amber, small creamy head, thick. Big fat dank aroma, citrus notes. Taste also is all about the hops, dank, musty, grassy, earthy. While the hops obliterate the palate, a steady burn lingers in the back. Wow!

A: The beer is very hazy orange yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving small patches of bubbles on the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grapefruit and gooseberry are present in the nose along with hints of stone fruit.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of gooseberries and grapefruit along with hints of herbs and faint traces of alcohol. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is definitely a heavy duty Imperial IPA that needs to be sipped given its strength.
