2012 Bottle. Pours a clear golden straw color with mild head and minor lacing. An extremely rich and multi-layers aroma: Wine, vanilla, bread, oak, with undertones of funky Brett, farmhouse, and straw. Taste is similarly complex: Dryness from the chardonnay, sweetness from the tripel base beer, and funky notes from the Brett offset by vanilla. A mild carbonation enlivens the palate, and a small amount of heat from the alcohol follows on the finish. Overall this is quite unique: A good sipper, and a beer for reflection.

Pours a murky cloudy gold with no real head retention and just a few sudsy bubbles sticking around. Really incredible and floral aroma of apple and pear with that signature tripel, coriander-esque spice to it. Taste follows some of the nose, with a tiny bit of creamy sherbert flavor, chalky mouthfeel from the Brett but you really don't taste 9%. Overall, this is pretty good and I really appreciate the style.

I couldn't taste anything besides the Brett, and apparently it's not my thing. If I didn't know any better I would have said it was spoiled or skunked..

exceptional Brett aromas and flavors. Some belgian yeast notes come through. Great balance of flavors. Mouthfeel is correct for the style. As with any brett-ish beers there will be variation.

It smells like blueberries and raspberries. The taste is a very complex mix of bitter and sour berries, fruit, and citrus. It's kind of dry, however very good, Anchorage killed it again.

This is a full frontal brett assault beer. You will get lots of brett in the aroma and the flavor and almost no character of the base beer. No nice estery fruit notes from the Tripel, no bready crackery malt aroma, no spiciness. All brett! If you love that - great! If you want to taste the base beer look elsewhere - this beer could have been any style and no one would know the difference.
