Served in a hefe glass...
Big creamy foamy head 2d, great lacing, crystal clear amber reddish color.
Nose mild fresh hops, light, spicy citrus fruity American hops, fruity fresh hops, mild sweet reddish malt in the background.
Taste brings sweet malts, reddish slight toasty amber sweet like malts, little candy and caramel, into big hops, spicy earthy, little herbal, mild fruity with some pineapple and citrus notes, little creamy thing in the background, perhaps a cheesy aged hop flavor, but also bright spicy fresher hops. Finish drier, lingering caramel candy malt, spicy earthy hop, mild fruity.
Mouth is med bod, nice carb.

Certainly not the best IPA, but it's one of the best that you can find in Shanghai.

On draft as part of a sampler tray.
Appearance: attractive orange-hazy appearance.
Smell: limited hop aroma but "bright" smell.
Taste: bitterness that fits the style, but no sense of aroma hops, lingering off flavors.
Mouth: crisp carbonation, decent body, lingering bite.
Overall a bit of an "okay" version of the style. Would have liked more aroma. Hard to describe the "off flavors".
