It's not much of a looker. Pale and hazy brownish yellow. No head to speak of and looks rather flat.

Strawberries, vinegar, and funky aroma.

Tart and fruity flavor. Just a little strawberry, doesn't pop much.

Flat and thin body. Little carbonation.

I was pretty disappointed by this one. It was ok, but had some serious flaws in the body and the strawberry didn't come strong.

Paid about $10 for the bottle at the COOP ... It is a dollar or so more expensive at some of the other bottleshops around town. Pours hazy orange with no real head or lacing... Tart lemony lactic is the big player across the board... the berries are mild but present. Body is fine, so is the carbonation... Almost too sour with no finesse at all... Still I dig it and am happy to have Almanac finally available without trading for it.

The look and smell scream strawberry. Unfortunately, the fruit doesn't come through until the beer warms to almost room temp. At room temp, the beer is a strong sour (as per usual with Almanac) but I have a difficult time differentiating it from cerise or several other of the recent sours. It is hard to knock a consistently nice sour but I was hoping for a bigger strawberry profile - instead, its just Farmer's Reserve X fruit - good, but will not be purchasing multiples.

A well done sour ale by Almanac. Look is cloudy orange. Taste is of white wine barrel and sour with a bit of strawberry as it goes down. Feels crisp and light and goes down smooth. Overall a very nice sour ale.

Didn't pick up any of the wine character. I do appreciate the craftsmanship but not my style.

Pours a very pretty and hazy strawberry blonde with minimal foam.

Fresh strawberries, slight musty funk, slight vinous aroma, tart acidity.

Great strawberry flavor, balanced well with a pleasant but not overpowering acidity, and some white wine characteristics.

Light-bodied, medium-high carbonation, crisp, tart, fruity.

Overall, one of the better variants in the series. The strawberry really comes out unlike a lot of their fruited sours (IMO).
