10oz tulip on-tap at THG.

A: Served super cloudy and murky. Staff said this went off-tap then back on and the keg that may have gotten shaken up, plus this is near the bottom of the keg. Chalky peach in color or maybe pink grapefruit juice. This beer had a fluffy head that faded into a thin collar.
S: Creamy and musty Brett, slightly doughy, with lightly acidic notes of grape and plum.
T: Grapefruit rind tartness up front, creamy Brett next, followed by subtle plum in the finish. The fruit flavor and the overall flavor in general is not overly sweet at all, and I get tart flavors of the fruit without any synthetic sweetness. Brett is creamy and lightly chalky. Tartness is citrusy in flavor and feel. Plum lingers in the aftertaste and has a nice floral quality.
M: Fuller body, fluffy mouthfeel and carbonation, with a citric acid type of bite and a bitter plum skin grapefruit pith bitterness.
O: A really great balance of flavors. Not an overly harsh tartness, not a sweet fruit juice bomb. Creamy and drinkable.

A- Orangish, pinkishness going on, but pretty
S- Delicate for a sour. Definitely the flesh of a plum with slightest hints of sweetness
T- Very well balances. Tart, but not overly. Sweet, but not hurting the tart. Bit of fruit and barrel.
F- Medium mouth feel
O- I really like Almanac sours, but this is my favorite. Not nearly as sour, but a real treat.

Pours similar in appearance to many others in this series, straw golden yellow, but with a subtle reddish hue going on and active carbonation.

Sour plum, wet hay, lactic acidity, tannins, and some light woody notes.

Tart acidity, sour plum, vinous, oaky, light funk.

Light-bodied, high carbonation, crisp, funky, refreshingly tart.

Overall, as a fan of the sour plum this is a real treat.

Dry-hopped and bottled within a month, i'm sold.
Murky opaque orange, fully saturated color with delicate drippy lacing around the edges and a finger of foam initially, which breaks apart after the first few sips.

The dry-hopping really makes it, a great aroma reminiscent of that stellar 1st bottling of Le Terroir.
El Dorado lends a distinct pungency and tropical notes to the fruity plum aroma. Just great.

Taste is fairly tart and acidic, juicy plum up front with some lingering dry Brettiness in the aftertaste, some cheese rind also. Clean and bone dry finish. Medium to light bodied with ample carbonation. Drinkable and very enjoyable. One of the more memorable Almanac sour ales in recent memory.
