Notes: LOVE is bursting with hoppy tropical flavors. Built on a simple base of Pilsner malt and rolled oats, this super dank IPA has a pillowy mouthfeel and is double dry-hopped with Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe. Flavors of mango, cantaloupe, and citrus will keep you infatuated.

16oz canned July 23rd, poured into a nonic.

A: Beautiful hazy straw body and fluffy white head; there is some sediment from the can visible in my glass.

S: Beautiful soft tropical notes, unique cantaloupe, juicy and fruity and soft.

T: Big melon, honeydew, cantaloupe, mellow tangerine juice, guava; a tiny touch of green herbal hoppiness, not really bitterness though; juicy, fruity, and tropical.

MF: Smooth, soft, and crushable.

O: So very good, and unique in an era of endless Hazy options. I really liked this one.

Pours a pale yellow gold color with a one finger off-white head. Aroma is all citrus with a surprisingly fresh grapefruit/lemon/orange medley - so lightly sweet on the nose but pungent with citrus zest. Flavor is fairly similar, though it starts off faint in flavor, picking up the full citrus zest in the mid-taste, riding it into the finish. Feel is light and more crisp than soft, maybe a little watery. moderate seltzer, almost no bitterness.

This is just full of flavor and very fresh tasting - not so much "juicy" as the label says than just plain flavorful. It is worth the try by far.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/22/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, coconut, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, vanilla, cream, cedar, mint, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, coconut, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, vanilla, cream, cedar, mint, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, coconut, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, vanilla, cream, cedar, mint, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6.1%. Overall this is a fantastic NEIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth =and easy to drink with mellowly bitter/drying finish; fantastic soft feel. Amazing Mosaic, Citra, Sabro profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing spot on style example.

Very solid IPA, started off strong but then fell a little flat during the taste - I think the beer was too old (canned date 9/12/19) so some of the hops may have faded and the malt became more forward. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-orange color with a nice thick fluffy head and some solid sheets of lingering lacing that persisted after a vigorous pour. Smells great, nice aromas of ripe mango, passion fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon and some weaker malt, vanilla, floral and herbal hops. Tastes similarly, except for the muted hops being pushed into the background. Still juicy and flavorful, nice depth. Smooth mild slightly sticky mouthfeel with good carbonation. All in all, quite enjoyable.

Cloudy with a white-hued, light gold color. Lasting rim bubbles with ample spots and streaks for lace.

Harsher prickly cut weed aroma which covers the pale malt base.

A bit watery but the carbonation is lower than expected so it comes close to working. Here, the malt stands up. I would describe this as leaning malty even though the hop is present in a balancing way. Decently lasting aftertaste.

Pours a hazy straw color with a thin white head. Smell was floral ,citrus dank hops. Taste was citrus and baked bread malts some melon and dank garden hops. Mouth feel smooth with minimal bitterness. Liked this IPA for its lack of sweeetness it was a bit thin for the style.

Pours a hazy grapefruit juice deep straw producing 3 fingers of frothy, glowing white, lasting head that leaves a beautiful coating of clumpy lace on the sides of the glass as it recedes to a heavy collar ring and surface cap. Aroma is citrusy grapefruit, orange and tangerine backed by pineapple and earthiness with a vegetal hint. Taste is grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, melon, coconut and pilsner malt notes. Earthy and fruity. Lightly sweet with a subdued bitterness; neither dominates and there is no tug of war between them. Well balanced with the highest degree of bitterness in the finish it transitions to a low profile pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with moderate carbonation, smooth and creamy (from the oats). Well done.

Light and fruity. Endless tangerine peel taste, and aroma as well, to the exclusion of everything else. Not to complain too much, but it really needs a shot of cheap vodka and a squeeze of lime would make it the ideal happy hour drink on the deck at the motel lounge.

They must have picked "super dank" as a fun phrase, rather than a description. It's light, fruity, and did I mention the endless tangerine? Very refreshing. It's like a blood orange pale ale with a bit of Creamsicle. Slight acidity at the finish and aftertaste is diluted citrus, maybe a touch of bitterness. From the 16 oz can purchased at Liticker's Liquor. Lovely label in this series of Almanac beers I'm seeing around lately.

I respect this brewery, so I forced myself to finish two of these, a week apart. The third time, I got through half the can and poured the rest out. All three cans were fresh. It's so sweet as to be borderline undrinkable. It reminds me of when I was a child and I'd get a heaped spoonful of sugar and shove it into my mouth. It was a thrill back then. It's less appealing now.

Hazy dark golden yellow. Lacy thick head.
Smell is impressive. Caneloupes and citrus with coconut.
Taste is a letdown and that works in combination with a strange thin astringent mouthfeel.
Starts out tasty like the smell but becomes more like coconut water hop juice, making the haze more unappealling.

I guess I was expecting more. Decent looking, weakish smell and taste. Worth a shot but nothing I will seek out. Just not that memorable. So many others I prefer over this one.

L: Cascades of slowly rising bubbles fill this hazy gold IPA under a 1.5" off-white foam cap with a very fine bead and good retention,.

S: It smells of tropical fruit, melon and biscuit with a hint of onion or garlic.

T: Varied and complex tropical fruit flavors with tangerine, mango, orange rind, and a little tropical fruit punch. there is a trace of tartness on the finish. There is a hint of nuts. Hop bitterness is medium high.

F: Very creamy, juicy, medium plus body, medium carbonation.

O: An interesting full flavored beer where all the flavors work well together.
