Notes: A sour IPA that embraces duality. Conjured during spring’s bounty, this curious brew was aged with strawberries, peaches, honey, and lavender. Citra hops add an unexpected tropical twist, resulting in a beguiling ale that transitions and evolves with every sip. Pair with flirtation, wit, and stargazing.

Hazed orange with a finger-and-a-half of tan-tinted head that dissipates fairly quickly into a thick crown. Modest lacing.

Strong peach, strawberry, honey and wheat bread in the nose with a definite floral element.

Sour, tart and funky tasting. Strawberry impressions stand out most among the fruits, and there is a hint of lavender. It has a relatively clean, brett-like finish with a mineral water quality to it.

Soft-bodied with moderate carbonation.

The nose is lovely. That said, there’s something about the strawberry or “sour” that’s okay on some sips and tastes off to me on others.

gorgeous can on this one, first new one from these guys i have seen come through in awhile, a very unique brew, loaded with cool ingredients you dont often see together, peaches, strawberries, lavender, and honey, but its also a sour, and its also an ipa, a little bit of everything here, but its all real cohesive and it doesnt smell or taste kitchen sinky to me at all, as much as it sounds odd on paper. a little hazy, soft pale orange colored brew with a lasting inch of thick and creamy white head. aroma here is sweet ripe peach, slight tart berry and kiwi fruit character, subtle white wine, citrusy hops, clean melon, and the highly floral lavender, which is both obvious and not overdone, appealing aroma, complex and springy and vibrant, everything in nice proportion and very natural. the taste is great, both peaches and strawberries are bold up front, both identifiable, and both awesome with all the citra hops swimming around in this. the lavender and the honey come later, more lavender than honey but both present, and i like the honey sweetness instead of a lactose sweetness, which is more common in these, its less forced here and more compatible with the fruit i reckon. the sourness is only moderate, lemony and complimentary, and there is some almanac funk in this as well, more than just the acidity, some real character to it, juicy hops pop at the end, and the whole thing is really fresh and good, a very impressive offering overall, sounds like too much, but its not, its awesome!
