Pours a cloudy off orange color with a quickly falling head. Golden hues, effervescing and with a reddish tint from the cherries. Nose is slightly floral and has the fullness of cherries on it. A malty edge accents the sourdough yeast and you can't miss that! makes it smell like sourdough bread with cherries on top. A hint of wood but nothing too much and a light little vanilla. Taste is lively, acidic and sour. Not vinegary at all. The cherries seem to blossom on the tongue as I actually envisioned cherry blossoms. The sourdough yeast has an openness to it that shines a spotlight on that fruit. Just enough malt to present some kind of mouthfeel while a good little sweetness from it peeks out right before the finish to contrast that sour and linger in the after taste.

Pours slightly hazy brown in color. Smell has slightly acidic malt aromas with oak and some cherry sweetness in the background. Taste has a great acidic tart lacto vinegar sour flavor upfront with a mild malt and cherry sweetness. Light dry oak and wine flavors in the finish. Nice heavily acidic sour.

l: ruby hue, not much head, what is there is white with little retention
s: the first thing that hits you is the tartness, you can tell this is a sour beer right off the bat. after the tartness is dark cherries and other dark fruity notes
t: pucker up, even more sour than it tastes. tart and fruity on the front end but rolls into a smack you in the back of the mouth sourness
m: pretty light in texture, not a ton of carbonation but light and tart enough that it leaves the tongue dancing a bit
o: very good beer. definitely a sour first and everything else is background noise so if you like slightly tart beers this one might underwhelm...if you like something that makes you pucker this will be a treat.

One of the finest sours I have ever had.

I am a nut for everything this beer embodies. latterly. I love cherries, red wine, barrel aged beers, sour dough, and sours.

The only thing wrong with this beer is it looks murky. Absolutely amazing puckery taste. Full bodied beer with notes of red wine, sour yeast and cherries.

Smell is of a typical sour but this beer shines with it's taste.

Pink peach color. No head.

Flavor is very sour and tart. Tart cherries. Fairly fresh. Decent amount of acidity. Lemon juice. Has a grapefruit flavor to.

Overall, a surprisingly good sour. Unexpected. I like it.
