Go here usually about once a week. They have a nice atmosphere dimly lit with a lot Of Irish decor on the walls. The staff is friendly and almost always very prompt. The beers on tap are usually split between macros ImPorts and American craft. The food here is really good the steak tips and the rebel burger in particular are my personal favorites, but everyone raves about the fish sandwich and fish and chips. The prices at also very good with all the drafts costing 4 bucks. Definitely one of the better places to go in Down town Lowell

Swung by here yesterday (14JAN17) for lunch with Alewife....

Entering off Central St, through a small foyer and voila! A few regular tables on the left before a short partition, with some high tables further left. The bar runs long from front to back along the right side. Lots of dark wood, old pics of Irish notables, Irish street signs and what-not decorate the place. Bar had a couple of towers with 8 or so taps each. Mostly local craft stuff and a few macros and ciders, heavy on the APAs and IPAs.... Opted for a Guinness myself, with the Lady doing an Allagash White. Service was friendly and helpful throughout. Seemed to be gathering of regulars at the bar; a Cheers-like feel; plus some decent classic rock. Each downed a burger, which were both sizable and quite tasty. All-in-all, a pleasant visit! Prosit!!
