I went in not expecting much, came out stoked.

There is a large selection of beer here. There are a few in particular that I have not seen at all in this area. Other places I've been is Toast is Augusta and Wine world in North Augusta. Things I found here not present at the others:

Shipyard smashed series (pumpkin, blueberry, etc)
A few more rare RJ Rockers
Ballast point Sculpin(hell yea, haven't seen this since I was in SoCal)
Ballast point Imperial Porter

I recommend coming just for the sculpin! Will be back.

This is located in the middle of a shopping center at the intersection of Martintown Road and Knox Avenue; it is pretty easy to find.

Atmosphere: Upon entrance, I noticed that the store is divided down the middle by a plexiglass wall that separates the liquor from the beer and wine (for Sundays). The lights are odd. It is a sizeable place that is set up like a small grocery store.

Service: It always seems to be the same girl at the counter and she always looks pissed. No one bothers you while you shop at least.

Quality/Selection: The have a decent craft beer stash; some bombers from Rogue, Great Divide, Southern Tier, Victory, Lagunitas, and Stone. The sixpacks (which cannot be broken down) are below it. It features the typical brews that can be found in the area. The import shelf is to the left of this and it has the full Sam Smith lineup, Fuller's, St. Peter's, and Guinness. Adjacent to that shelf is another that is full of singles. It has some Belgians (Malheur, St. Feuillien, Rochefort, Duvel, etc.) which is nice as well as some 12 oz American brews. Not bad.

The biggest problem I have with them is freshness. I happened to notice a 750 of Victory V-Saison (now Helios) that was bottled in '06 and a Rogue Juniper Pale Ale from '07. I was pretty grossed out by that. If you check the dates, this is an adequate store.
