I've been to Meditrina several times to pick up some Heady Topper and a few other obscure offerings that are not available locally to me in Brattleboro.

It's a quaint little wine and beer store that also sell artisan cheeses. The wine selection has some nice hard to find bottle and the beer selection as mentioned above has some more obscure offerings. Heady Topper is always available.

While the beer selection is not overwhelming, it is quite clear after browsing the shelves that these people know good beer. It's mostly domestic craft brew with some Belgian mixed in. A five liter mini-keg here and there coupled with 750ml bottles of stuff you'll be interested in having.

Amy is super friendly and has always been very helpful in pointing out new finds. If you are headed up 103 during ski season for a session on the slopes, this place is an oasis in a beer wasteland.

Hours are somewhat limited, so plan you trip accordingly.

Oh and by the way if you are up this way you might as well stop over at the Pizza Stone on rt 11. They usually have HT on tap as well as at least one Hill Farmstead product. Hit them in tandem!

This is a small store that sells beer and wine in the Central Vermont town of Chester. Chester is highly regarded as one of the top tourist stops in Vermont; along with nearby Vermont Country Store; just down the road. Meditrina's beer selection is good and they are one of the few places where you can find BackArce Golden Sour. The young lady who runs the store is very helpful and friendly. If your in this area of Vermont, it is a must stop.

Very small, but nice. They didn't have a big selection, but what they DID have was outstanding! I noticed that most of what they had is fairly priced, with a few exceptions that were surprisingly cheap.

My only complaint was that all of their overstock big bottles were laid on their sides, but they are primarily a wine store so...

A hole in the wall place with odd hours. That said if they are open I always stop as they have a great selection with no macros whatsoever. They sell singles including opening stuff like Hi Point so you can try before spending a lot. One of the only places that sells Backacre.

They have cheese and wine too but I've never even looked in that section.

Can't go wrong if your in the area you need to stop. Love just going in here to talk beer with the owners whom by the way are very very awesome people. Going through Vermont then you need to stop by.

Despite the previous review they do not carry heady topper. While I was there someone came in looking for it. They do have lots and lots of other fantastic brews
