Had this poured out of a growler into a pint glass. I'm pretty sure the deal here is that they take their naughty girl ale and add some spices and perhaps malt. It has a nice spicy aroma and a sweet taste. Totally decent, but I think I like the naughty girl better.

It's a weird pour. There is no pop whatsoever when you crack the top open, nothing. At that point, it's not really surprising that no head develops. Other than Utopias I've never seen such a thing. More than anything, it looks like a wine. Pours a very reddish brown and somewhat thin and clear. Does little for me.
Extremely spice-forward nose. A mix of cinnamon and ginger with cloves making a cameo. A light fruitiness evolves, but little sign of hops. Not so much a bad smell, just not great.
This is a swing and a miss. It's very spicy, but that's about it. Cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger dominate the taste buds.
Another swing and a miss because this is little more than spices in a watered down liquid. There's no body, nothing to cleanse the palate, which is much needed with this. Their website calls it medium to full bodied and it couldn't be further from the truth. Light bodied. Spicy from beginning to end. No character whatsoever.
As opposed to something that is greater than the sum of its parts, this is actually worse than the sum of its parts. This beer has few redeeming qualities. I dare to say it's not a beer. If this was warm, I'd be convinced it was wassail with some booze in it. Really a poor example of a winter warmer.

Felt I had to write a few notes if i'm going to score this so lowly. Have you even seen anyone do the cinammon challenge? If not YouTube it. This beer tastes like they took a large pile of holiday spices and soaked it in water. It is challenging to to take a drink and not want to immediately discharge it out of your mouth.

Your a strange one Mr. Grinch. One of the oddest beers I have tried. Good (not great), but strange. It's like a combination of a hefeweizen and a pumpkin brew. Spicy yet wheaty. Worth a try I say if for no other reason than to try something different.

22 ounce bottle. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a slightly hazy amber/brown color with a thin off-white head that fizzled away quickly. Not much lacing. The brew smells like dark fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and bready malt. The taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also a bit of clove and orange peel noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's easy to drink and has low carbonation. Overall a decent Christmas brew. Would have liked to try this one fresh, maybe next year.
