Poured into a pilsener glass, the appearance was a pale yellow sort of color with a two finger's worth of white foamy head that slithered away sporadically. Lace was somewhat foamy yet messy.
The aroma had some tangerine/grapefruit pulpy sweetness, some white bread, touch of herbal, slight pine and a light white pepper colliding into each other in a nice way.
The flavor leaned sweet initially and ended up bringing in the spicy contour of the white pepper ever so slightly. Aftertaste was moderately sweet with that little bit of white pepper and pine punching it extremely light.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a spectacular sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty nice American pale lager worthy of having again.

12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 4/5/2017. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of steaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, pear, mango, melon, papaya, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, pear, mango, melon, papaya, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, grassy, spicy, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, pear, mango, melon, papaya, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, cracker, bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Slight lingering hop astringency through the glass, but not overwhelming. Very clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness and carbonation, increasing through the glass. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an awesome hoppy pale lager! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; despite the increasingly bitter/drying finish. Very vibrant and a bit dank on hops; with nice solid malt backbone. This is definitely near IPL territory on the hops and bitterness. A really delicious offering.

A - Pours a clear golden yellow with a one finger foamy white head. Good amount of soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is bready malts, light grapefruit and lemon.

T - The taste follows the aroma. Sweet bready malts, lemon, light citrus finishing with some nice bitter hops.

M - Medium/light body with medium carbonation. Nice soft mouthfeel with a crisp dry finish.

O - This is a solid lager. The flavors are well rounded and on point. Great lawnmower beer.

Canned 4/5/2017
Poured a bright, clear golden with just off white fluffy head. It left just a bit of lacing. Smells of doughy biscuit malts, some light lemon and citrus hops. Taste is floral, cracker malts, slight lemon. Crisp, leaves a clean finish. A totally crushable warm weather beer.
