12 oz can poured into a Young's nonic pint.
A- A sloppy pour creates 2-1/2 fingers of frothy, white head that reminds me of homemade whipped cream. Slightly hazy, deep golden body is just a shade or two short of copper and sports light carbonation. The head just won't quit, never dropping below a 1/2 finger or more and leaves awesome stick.
S- Lots of hops. Mostly pine and herbal. Some grapefruit sneaks out later on. It seems quite fresh and very clean. A little sweet tropical fruit.
T- More hops as suggested by the aroma. Very piney and herbal. Malts peak through as cracker-like or a little bready. Malts don't stand out, but add a sweetness to keep the hops in check.
M- Medium body, light carbonation, very dry/clean, light hop bite.
O- This is a very solid IPA. I could see this as my beach, campfire beer due to is availability in 12oz cans. MIT doesn't necessarily stand out with any bells or whistles, but it certainly does the job (good balance, smooth flavors). Some proceeds going to MI trials is icing on the cake.

Pours a medium/dark amber color with a thick white head on top. Has a super strong pine hop smell. Taste is very hoppy with a good bit of citrus that lingers in the mouth.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange red with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and tropical fruit hops. Tastes of citrus and tropical fruit. Beer is light bodied and and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
