Served in Imperial Pint glass. Poured a very lightly hazy honey-gold color with an inch of white head that had very good retention and moderate lacing.
The aroma had a very nice hit of piney hops, some citrus notes, and just a bit of malt sweetness. On the tongue, the malt had a bit more of a presence, which gave a more solid foundation to those piney and citrusy hops.
The body was very nicely full, while not feeling heavy at all, a tricky feat to accomplish. The beer also had a nicely dry finish. Drinkability was good, the beer went down quickly and easily . Overall, a good, but fairly typical example of the style. Worth looking for as you drink your way around the Puget Sound region.

Poured a bright orange-amber with a finger of loose white head. Floral aroma with touches of caramel and grapefruit.
Moderate carbonation and a full, slick mouthfeel. Grapefruit and apricot up front with floral notes, a solid sweet caramel backbone, and some sharp pine on the finish.
A really exceptional single IPA that packs a lot of flavor. Very, very nice.
