The first flagship beer in the Holy City arsenal is our version of a traditional Bohemian-style Pilsner, with significantly amped-up hops, imparting a wonderfully sharp bite to what’s already a dry, crisp affair. This beer will quench your thirst and please your palate all in one glass…but we bet you’ll want a second.

Glorious hazy golden hue that screams DRINK ME, with a huge fluffy snow white head leaving sheets of lace down glass. Wonderful!
Harmonious blend of sweet fresh grain and floral earthy noble hops. Well done from some that KNOW how it is done.
Grainy sweet earthy floral nectar that coats the face holes with grand goodness. OOOHFAH! Outstanding styling from a hard hitter in our local market.
Wonderful way this fills the mouth then leaves a crisp tart finish that begs for more poured in to gullet.
I have not had many freshys from across the pond, if any, and this is my new measuring stick. OUTSTANDING czech pils. No real need for me to attempt this style unless at the source as these cats have nailed it. BRAVO!

Picked up a single from the Highland Lakes Ingles Market cooler 6-9-22 for $2.00. Canned 3-29-22; consumed 9-22-22. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured golden with a beautiful head that has major hang time.
Nose is white cracker forward.
Taste is white crackers and black pepper-tinged hops that balance the sweetness fairly well.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and refreshing.
Overall a pretty well-made pilsner.

From the can, it pours a clear light golden yellow color with a nice white head. The nose detects a graininess with some grass. The mouth gets a pleasant light malt flavor.

Nose is grainy with a bit of noble hops. Flavor is malt based with a biscuit note and typical Saaz and Hallertau hops but also grainy and a little metallic. High carbonation is actually a plus here as it masks some of the more aggressive flavors that seem to be a little shaky.

Very easy drinking beer and goes great with their in house fried pretzels and beer cheese.

Draft at The Rarebit.
Hazy gold pint with racing carb streams, compact layer of white foam and flecks of spotty lacing dotting the glass. Mild grassy hop aroma, mild crackery malt and lager yeast. Fairly nondescript with a clean profile. Taste is dry with a light grassiness and mild crackery malt. Light and crisp feel, slight astringency. Overall this was nice and drinkable, paired well with chicken & waffles.
