Not much in the aroma department here. Clear gold with just OK foam. Surprisingly big piney hop given the aroma. Good balance with sweetness and a medium bitterness. Moderate carbonation and a light body as well. Overall and OK brew but without a lot of depth. There's better stuff out there.

Poured from the tap at the brewery into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a nice blend of citrus, malt and hops.
Appearance- The beer is a murky golden amber with a small white head.
Taste- Has a nice malt and citrus flavor with a small hop bite.
Palate- This is a light to medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation.
Overall- A good solid APA, I enjoyed it.

On tap at Husk.

Appearance - Murky pond water. Slight orange tinge to the brownness. No head. Just some lacing.

Smell - Minimal hop aroma. Some pine and grass. A bit of grain.

Taste - Much better, but nothing awesome. Some grapefruit hop and pale malts. Lots of grassy hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Very bitter.

Overall - Drinkable but there are plenty of much better local options.

Honeymoon Beer Review #3
A- It's a cloudy dark yellow fading into orange. This is the first beer I've drank from this white wine glass that actually holds a head so I would expect it to be even more billowy in a typical glass than the half finger of lightly whipped egg foam that I get here.

S- Very weak aroma. It's a little surprising given the decent amount of flavor in the taste, but I'm really reaching to get much here. White bread. biscuits.

T- Some light catpee flavors. Some dankiness like the patch of yard that's always in the shade and never quite grows grass. Green pine needles. Very pithy grapefruit on the back of the mouth.

M- Lingering bitterness, not a ton of lingering sweetness. Leaves the tongue without quite being refreshing.

O- A good easy drinking pale with more hops than you would expect. It leans toward the SNPA in that regard. Could stand a few more of these.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, golden-copper coloring with a filmy, clingy, white head. Nose of lime, cut grass, toasted grains, and subtle caramel. Flavors are toasted forward, with an undertone of cut grass and moss. Lemon and lime highlights throughout, with a biscuit backbone. Smooth, light body, with a bitter resin and citrus aftertaste. Clean, crisp finish. Very refreshing brew.

Pours a hazy, gold color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of citrus hops, floral hops, sweet malt, hint of yeast, and a hint of pale malt. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong citrus hops, slight floral hops, slight yeast, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, weak appearance, decent aroma and feel, but simple body.

A: Had this beer on-tap at Gene's Haufbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had an amber color and a slightly hazy consistency. There was a big, fluffy, creamy, long-lasting head. Very good lacing.

S: A surprisingly sweet, fruity aroma, with traces of hops and malt.

T: Tasted of hops (a fair amount - more than you usually find in an APA), a little malt, citrus, and possibly some pine. This beer borders on being an IPA, but that's not a bad thing. A tasty flavor.

M: A good amount of carbonation with a sweet, lively finish.

O: This is a solid, easy to drink beer. Well done and definitely drinkable.
