Pleasantly surprised. My first one was poured from a 30-day old can and definitely looked the part. Hazy with a decent head. Not quite as smooth as the "elite" wheat beers but it definitely scratched the hefeweizen itch. The next two were straight from the can and just as enjoyable. Good warm weather beer.

Currently on vacation w/ my entire immediate family on Kiawah Island in South Carolina. Picked this up at the store a few days ago. Poured out of a 12 oz. can into a mug, this beer pours a somewhat cloudy, hazy medium golden color. Has a nice white head that’s about an inch thick when first poured that settles eventually to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass w/ nice cluster swirls of film layer surface foam and a lot of lacing. Aromas of bready malts and wheat along with banana, clove, and a bit of bubblegum. The flavor profile is quite similar, w/ some bready malts and wheat that are followed by banana, clove and a bit of bubblegum and a pretty mild hop presence. Good, but I do wish the banana, clove, and bubblegum notes were all a bit to somewhat stronger here. Good balance of all the flavors though. Has a fairly crisp, slightly creamy, also smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with light to carbonation. Very drinkable. Has a very clean finish and there is a nice aftertaste

Don’t really love clove or most Hefeweizens, but this one was really good! Tasted incredibly fresh despite sitting in my backlog for 6 months.

No can date
Pours a very large fizzy head with lower retention as it collapses on itself quickly, no real lacing, hazy cloudy med orange color

Nose light doughy wheat and honey cake but fruit dominates, some pear and apple, apple cider, little banana, light spices

Taste creamy sweet wheat, little doughy honey cake and sweet blondie dessert, plenty of fruit with sweetened banana and apricot preserve, a bit of apple cider, citrus, some spices, little vanilla on the back end, dry finish

Mouth is med bod a tad creamy, very high effervescent and distracting carb

Overall not bad, decent hefe, fruit was a little different than usual but decent wheat and general hefe characters

You must like bananas, cloves, and cinnamon. It is crisp and refreshing. Very similar to Shotgun Betty but better.

12oz canned 5/8/18 (63 days ago) poured into an bow tie glass at fridge temp 5.1% ABV per can label. The beer pours almost bright straw yellow with nearly white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and leaves no lacing. The aroma is very light clove followed by banana. The taste is semisweet banana first with clove coming in behind. No hint of hop bitterness or flavor. Mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied, adequately carbonated and undry in the finish. Overall, ok. It actually suits me as I am not a huge fan of pronounced banana in these beers. My wife loves it. The bubblegum notes come out as it warms.
