Bottle pour at the 2014 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, CA.
Bottled 9/2013.
Pours a hazy dark red with a foamy reddish-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with malt, grain, berry, and Brett aromas. Taste is much the same with sour malt and berry flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

So much Blackberries. I would recommend this over most of the crooked staves I've had.

Initial sour was decent but taste dropped off to nothing far too quickly.
