Bottle from Brewers Haven. Label says Citrus Saison and is 5.8% ABV. Not sure if this is the same beer. Lively pour, tons of fine carbonation keep head thick and fluffy. Aroma is grainy and dusty, light citrus accents. Taste goes for Saison flavors, yeast, dry lemony notes. Not tart at all. Pretty sure this a Saison with Brett.

Blonde, cloudy appearance with huge and hollow foam. Face-hitting aroma and taste of oranges, accentuated by the delicately sour complexities of wild yeast Bready, savory aftertaste. Champagne-like texture with big bubbles and light to medium body. Overall, very drinkable and very well-balanced. Would be interesting to taste a more aggressively fermented version of this one.

Taste: slight tartness, faint sourness. White grapes, not much going in flavor wise.

Appearance - St. Bretta is a mild looking beer within the glass, with a crystal clear body, pale yellow in color, with a small head that dully fades away. A steady stream of carbonation cuts through the body to give some light to it.

Aroma - The nose is deliciously fruity with a bit of barnyard funk to add a twist. There's a strong citrus note that borders between slightly acidic and sweet. Rounding out the aroma is a strong oak presence.

Taste - The flavor follows the nose and is on-point from start to finish. This is a great tasting beer that harmoniously balances the tartness from the blood orange with a bit of sweetness, brettanomyces funkiness, and an almost woodshop-esque oakiness. Each aspect is represented but none dominate over the others. It's super light and easy to drink with an acidic finish.

Mouthfeel - Mouthfeel is light, crisp, and beautifully carbonated. A dry finish leads to a long, flavorful aftertaste.

Closing Arguments - Overall this is a grand slam. It's simple, yet rich in depth. I could see this being a great beer to sit out on a porch during a cold Fall day.

golden yellow pour.
Not huge aroma on the nose. really searching for something besides the brett. the brett alone is enough to get me excited but still not much else.
Tastes really good, sour and yet pungent fruit. orange and berry goodness - tons of tart fruit - really loving this thing!
White wine, citrus flavors do well in the super crisp brett. a good blend of flavors
Overall I need this again!
