Hated 22oz bottle format. Poured into 10oz goblet. Poured a cloudy straw yellow color, with just a tin cap of white head that had low retention and zero lacing.

The aroma had a light touch of Brett funk, some earthy tones, and a very light grain presence. The flavors were very similar, just bolder, brighter, and more attention grabbing. The Brett was nicely tangy, and the earthiness of the malts gave a nice foundation.

The body was crisp and light, and had a very dry finish. Drinkability was very good, especially if you like Brett. Overall, a very nice brew. Grab one when you see it.

8 ounce pour - $8.00 at Argosy in Atlanta, Georgia.

Appearance: Intrinsically hazed, soft pale yellow body with no real head formation.

Smell: There's just a very slender maltiness, leaving a predominately citrusy, tart aroma atop a little light, tame funkiness of the Brett.

Taste: As evidenced by the nose, there's no more than a slim malt character with only a tiny hint of sweetness. Tart and lemony, yes, but also some lime showing more bitterness than expected along with a flash of acidity. Sourish, citrusy finish.

Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Lightly carbonated.

Overall: With its acidity, I'm not sure I would want a large amount going down my gullet and any one time, but eight ounces was in and enjoyed in a snap.

Has a fruity, lemony peach nose dosed with tartness and traces of over ripe fruit. It pours hazy straw to gold under a 2” pillowy white foam cap. It has a big tart, fuity, lemony palate that finished bone dry. This is light, effervescent and very refreshing.

Light straw-gold colored beer with a bright white fine bubbled head. Aroma is stinky with farm aromas and wildflowers. A little tart lemon and citrus rinds, hay, and a pile of flowers baked in sunlight. Taste is clean, fresh, tart, and...smacky. Very nice texture and very very consumable...

Pours an effervescent straw color with a thin pearl white head. Great lacing & head retention

S: Grassyness/sourness, fades a bit as this warms, then some wet hay

T: Sourness, tartness, a little lemon & grassiness up front. Tartness, sourness & lemons dominate as this warms, even a touch of acidity. Finishes slightly sour, a little more tart & with a little lemon vinegar

MF: Light bodied, delicate carbonation, Champagne-like, puckery

Super drinkability, would drink again if the price was better. Might buy again any way. A great example of a sessionable sub 4% ABV beer

Pours a brilliant pale gold with bright clarity, sticky sudsy lacing. Broken surface skim after a few sips. Second pour is a little more hazy.

Aroma is great, tropical and funky, oak and pineapple, passionfruit, sandalwood.
Tart with a lemony zing, grapefruit zest, and an unusual toasted popcorn kernel note in the aftertaste that lingers, seemingly Brett derived. Light bodied, tart, and crisp.

Overall very refreshing and drinkable, very suited to the role of a true table beer, to pair with hearty cuisine.

22 ounce bottle. Served in a Prairie Teku, the beer pours a hazy straw gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like lemon peel, funk, hay, lime, bready/grainy malt, and some earthiness. The taste is somewhat similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some tropical fruit, peppery spice, peach, mango and a bit of vinegar noticeable. It's funky, tart and sweet all at the same time. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's crisp and refreshing! Well carbonated, but also easy to drink. I've liked the few Crooked Stave beers that I've tried so far, but this one might be the best. I know I'll pick this up again if I ever find another bottle! $10.99 a bottle.

Cloudy straw beneath a frothy write head that leaves some messy lacing all over the glass. Aromas of dusty lemon, barnyard funk, spicy yeast, cereal, and earthy floral freshness. Less funk in the taste, though the lemony tartness remains, followed by fresh cracked wheaty grain and some lime/miscellaneous fruit hops. Crisp, light body with a very dry finish. Super refreshing and tasty!
