7/1....pours a bright red, very bright, backed with a light pinkish ring of foam. Strong fruity nose, definitely raspberries. Fruity sour, puckers more than others. Tasty.

A 375ml bottle with no apparent date poured in a Crooked Stave tulip glass. I'm fairly certain it's a recent release as my store had it on the counter with other new beers.

Look- Pours a cloudy reddish-pink leaving behind a few centimeters of thin pink foam that quickly disappears. No lacing is left behind, but some tiny carbonation bubbles can be seen surfacing.

Smell- Tart raspberry, band aid and musty oak.

Taste- Tart raspberry, oak tannins and mild perfume. A little grass and earthy mustiness mixed in to a lesser degree.

Feel- Crisp and tart with a very dry finish.

Overall- It reminds me of a slightly sweet and medium tart liquid raspberry candy. The rather tame 4.5% abv. makes this a perfect summer patio beer. It's nice to see Crooked Stave here and I do believe I'll buy another.

Pours a beautiful red hued pour with minimal lacing. Wild yeast phenols apparent on the nose, however not as much tartness on the flavor profile as I wish there was

375 ml bottle, no dating on it that I could find but I know I bought it a couple months ago. Back label says 4.5% ABV. Served in a Teku glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy pink/purple color with about an inch light pink/off-white head that stuck around for a little bit. Not much lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like raspberries, wheat/grainy malt and some citrus peel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some grass, earthy and woody flavors noticeable too. It's a nice sweet, earthy and slightly tart brew that got a little more sour the longer I drank it. I liked this overall, it was nice and enjoyable enough. Good brew to try if you've never had it before! $7.99 a bottle.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy burnt amber/almost pink color with a lasting finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Stringy light/somewhat messy lacing roams around the glass. The aroma takes genuine red raspberries to bleed into a nice sour to tart to sweet authenticity. Subtle sweet grass, sly lemon rind (slightly bitter). The flavor is balanced nicely between the sweet to the tart to the sour - all between the red raspberry; fully all of the way on into the aftertaste and riding on into the finish, nicely. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable to sipping quality about it. Carbonation rides at a nice speed hitting my tongue just right. Overall, what an absolutely damn nice authentic American Wild ale. It’s as if they put real red raspberries right in the beer.

My bottle says 4.5% abv. I opened my near room temperature bottle and it started to gush. Lost not a drop. Dark red liquid with, initially, a big head of pink foam. That died down leaving some islands and a ring around the glass. I smell raspberries that are tart, the woody notes from the oak and mild funk.I needed to take really deep whiffs to pull out the last one. Diving into the tastes now and my palate is hooked. The delicate tartness is in no way coming across as artificial. There’s a sour thing going on as well..akin to what a wine’s tannins bring to that beverage. Woody oak notes round off of what I would call a fine drinking experience. All at 4.5% abv. Light bodied and a bit bit watery in the finish but that’s a minor gripe. More than worth the $7.50 I paid. Oh, I almost forgot to mention. Mild horseblanket in the taste.

375ml bottle poured into pint glass

A: Small reddish hued white head that disappears quickly. The body is a bright red color with good clarity.

S: Raspberries, sour a little wheat light wood smell.

T: Tons of raspberry light tartness not very sweet a little sour miles of raspberries.

M: Light bodied good carbonation finishes fairly light.

O: This beer has a ton of raspberry flavor without any of the sweetness. It has nice tartness and it's a lighter bodied beer. If this was more reasonably priced I would drink it quite often.

Pours clear, bright ruby red. Light, quickly-dissipating white head.

Aroma is of raspberry juice, yeast, malt .

Taste follows nose, plus a slight bit of oak.
Carbonation is very fine, and sharp. It is more "dry", than sour, but both sensations are present.
Overall, quite good, and would recommend it.

Pink color and clear. No head really with a single steak for lace.

More sour than raspberry but true to form.

The taste is like a low sugar framboise. Lots of sourness. Good body with ample carbonation. An easy to drink sour.

A: Poured into a tulip to a bright pink topped by a half finger of light pink head that fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of fresh raspberries, light tartness and a slight hint of funk
T: Taste is juicy raspberries and a pleasing light sourness along with a little funk and oak with a hint of dry cracker malts. Swallow is more fresh raspberry with lingering sourness with a slight hint of funk.
M: This beer has a moderate amount of body. Carbonation is a little low and could stand to be higher. The finish on this beer is drying from the acidity.
O: Overall this is a good beer with good flavors. It is a little low on complexity and it is a little one dimensional. While it does have some supporting flavors the fruit and the sourness are king. We'll see how this one fares with a little time.
