A 375ml bottle, bottled in December 2015. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A hazy reddish orange colour with a slight purple hue, and a near two finger off-white head that dissipated fairly quickly but settled to a nice thin replenishing cap while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Lightly tart, blueberry skin, lemon, blackcurrant, slightly herbal, with notes of oak and funk.
Taste: Sour, tart, blueberry, blueberry skin, lemon, blackcurrant, oak, funk, with light leather.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Enjoyable blueberry and blackcurrant flavours, with good oak and funk.

A: Poured into a duvel tulip to a reddish purple topped by a finger of dense off white head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Smells of blueberries and funk with some light sourness and a hint of oak
T: Taste is juicy blueberries and a little sourness followed by some light funk and some musty oak. Slight band aid and a nice lemony sourness. Swallow is more blueberries with some lingering lemony sourness, slight funk and oaky vanilla
M: This beer is on the lighter side of medium in body with bright carbonation that is just under prickly and a drying finish from the acidity.
O: Overall this is a really nice beer with some great flavors and decent complexity. the blueberry notes are really well done and blend well with the base beer. Definitely worth a try if you like fruited sour beers with a nice hit of funk.
