Hazy pale yellowish with modest foam in the snifter. What ever happened to those orange DIPAS? The mouthfeel is pleasantly sudsy with a distinct acidic slash. Aroma is delicious, gardenia and tangerine. There is a sweet start, definitely sweet orange.

Malty but not thick, the alcohol adds a sharp finish while the carbonation mellows it out. Flavors of orange emerge as the dominant. Hints of pineapple and mango. Overall this is not excessively bitter, and for the hop enthusiast it's a good ride with interesting hops. From the 12 oz can, a supermarket six-pack purchased in northwest Washington.

Green on green can poured into a Notorious La Trappe Goblet.

Look - White capped, head retention-able beer, with a handsome lace and the look of a BMC Hefe mixed with orange juice.

Nose - Little citrus and pineapple hitting me.

Taste - Similar to the nose, pen-pineapple-apple-pen, in the forefront with hints of pear, and a little Alpha bite to the foreground. Very gentle DIPA IRT to hop bitterness.

Feel - Medium heavy body, a bit chewy with the perfect amount of small bubble carbonation just tickling your tongue.

Overall an amazing beer, definitely get it when able.

a new clean double ipa from these guys, who seem to be coming fast and furious with the new non sour beers. its good, but not as good as the other hoppy clean beers they have done so far, like they went big for the sake of big, and that rarely works in any style, at least for me. very cloudy pale orange color with a soft creamy white head, east coast looking, not not ugly at all, not overly milky and gross like so many. aroma is not hop strain specific to me, like i dont really get any distinct nuances or particularities that tell me what hops are in here, it just seems blanket hoppy, if that makes sense, fresh enough, some bitter citrus peel, but not overly unique or anything. wheat seems to be in the mix, the grain here is thicker, maybe some oats, not too sweet though, just sort of starchy and proteiny and fluffy. the flavor is like the nose, lots of high alpha bitterness, an underwhelming dry hop, some harsh bitterness, and a long finish. its not all that great really, and i find it a little out of balance, missing that expressive hoppy nature the better examples of the style have, and honestly, nowhere near as good as the regular ipa types they have made so far. it just doesnt do much for me, and has such a weird feel with all the cloudy thick malts and the intense bitterness, it almost leaves a film all over my palate, and i taste this for just way too long. one of my least favorite of their clean beers so far...

Poured 12oz can into snifter. Color is a cloudy pale yellow with a 2 finger head that fades slowly and leaves webbed lacing on my glass. The scent is lovely citrus, pineapple with an incredible citrus/tropical juicy aroma to it. Tasty topical fruits with more of the same citrus, tangerine, strawberry, and pineapples. Very mild bitterness, malt in the finish. Excellent carbonation with oily hop residue and dry finish. It is smooth with a hint of berry and goes down like an APA.

12oz can, snifter glass. Cloudy golden yellow body, pulpy with a one and half finger frothy white head, good retention and plenty of lacing. Smell is citrus zest, a bit of orange peel, light caramel, a bit of mineral and a touch of grain. Flavour follows, citrus peel, tangerine, sweet caramel and touch of white sugar, orange juice, resin. Big hops, floral. Mouthfeel is medium lighter bodied, good carbonation, smooth carbonation, light resin and floral on the finish.

Absolutely gorgeous lemon yellow brew, opaque and topped by a frothy snow white head. Good retention.

Herbal and bright on the nose: slightly dank, with notes of pepper, grass, oregano, mint, lemon, and grapefruit.

Surprisingly light on the palate at first, building in flavor and body through the middle. Lemon, mango, mint, pineapple, and peach emerge, with a moderately dank back third. Medium to low bitterness. Some honey and cracker from the malt.

Smooth and creamy feel, lively, a touch watery up front but quickly smoothing out.

Pours golden and slightly hazy. Smells a little soapy. Creamy mouthfeel, nice hoppy flavor, floral, some rose perfume, light lemon flavor. I like the carbonation - lots of micro bubbles. Overall I was pleased with this choice, would like to try it fresh...
