2013/Batch 2

Crystal clear golden body and a thin quickly dissipating white head.

Off top it sort of reminds me of lambic. Musty, oaky, green apples, apricot, pineapple, malt with slight souring.

Dry with light carbonation and body.

Kinda surprised me. This was gooood.

12.7 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with a small white head that goes to a thin film.

The aroma is straw malts, soft tropical fruit, earthy brett and some tart acidic notes.

The flavor is sweet tropical fruit quickly followed by a lot of tart, acidic sourness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Overall, this has aged nicely - nice blend of sweet tropical fruit, earthy brett and tart acidic sourness.

A: A hazy, translucent, light yellow/gold color. Small off-white head, which quickly recedes, leaving behind a light lacing

S: Aroma of light acidity, funk, and brett: tropical fruit/citrus, pineapple, lemon, tangerine, orange, peach, oak, yeast, and malts

T: Flavor acidic, tart, sour, funk, tropical, citrusy, and vivid. Very correspondent to the aroma of pineapple, apricot, peach, lemon, oak and lacto

M: Light body, comfortable carbonation and acidity

O: A sophisticated and complex journey among the fruit, oak, brett, and malt notes. I have yet to meet a disappointing product/sour from Crooked Stave
