Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a snifter, the beer is a crystal clear, deep caramel coloring, with a filmy, light, off-white head. Nose of tart cherry, oak, chardonnay, subtle sour notes, and subtle earthy tones. Smooth and balanced. Flavors are tart cherry and floral notes forward, smooth and balanced, with woody and caramel in the backbone. Insanely smooth and light, increasing the drinkability. Clean, slick finish. Very nice!

Another solid beer from Crooked Stave people.
A rustic orange pour with 1 finger head, white and foamy. Lacing is thin, to be expected.

Sweet and sour aroma. Apples, caramel, floral, mint?, candied sugar, some citrus.

Flavor is quite nice. The apples and citrus provide a bit of sweetness and sharpness. Caramel runs throughout, but not up front. Tart. Funky. Hints of herbals and earthiness with a bit of an orange glow finish. Really nice.

Pours a dark copper color. Like a freshly baked granny apple pie. Smells like it looks.

Mouth is very light. The flavor settles on the tongue very balanced with no overpowering sour, citrus, or sugar. Each one is detectable on its own accord. They hit my tongue in that very order.

At 6% I could sip this all night long.
