A-Pours a milky yellow color. A flare of carbonation burps up some white foam. Very light lace.

S-Phew! Bretty funk swampiness. The Brett is wild, medicinal and tropical. Along with the zany yeast strain is another layer of funk. The lavender and violet are even noticeable here.

T-The most Brett forward beer have ever had (and it's not even close). The Brett is juicy, funky, medicinal, barny and fruity. It just blows over the palate. Yet, the best part of the flavor is the not so subtle lavender and violet. The duo creeps in after the wild yeast attack and it complements the aforementioned yeast in a surprisingly perfect fashion.

M-Light and dry. The body and carbonation make this drinkable but the concentrated sourness and funkiness make me slow down quick. This is more of a compliment than a criticism.

O/D-Maybe the most aggressively funky beer I have had. I really should try to give up my left nut for a few more in the Wild Wild Brett series because this one slays ass.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Batch 8/12, bottle 69/1526.

Appearance - Very hazy and murky. Pale yellow orange. Small white head with a thin collar.

Smell - Bright citrus. Lemony and bretty. Grapefruity. Very nice.

Taste - Grapefruit sourness. Some berry tartness. Lavender smooths it out very subtly in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Good sourness. Not a crisp beer, but not heavy.

Overall - Very nice sour. Amazing complexity from 100% brett.

Served in a tulip at Decofest, thanks to Mark for sharing!
Quick review from written notes.

Saturated orange color, compact layer of white foam on the surface, a flurry of spotty lace appears as the glass is swirled.

Fruity aroma, must be the pomegranate, though it seems more like pink grapefruit or guava.

Tart grapefruit taste, mild botanicals in the middle, complex and unique. Juicy feel, crisp with a moderate acidity before finishing dry in the end. Pulpy fruit impression, authentic and very nice.
