Poured an apricots color with a 3F head in a Mikasa tulip.

Nice aroma, citrus and Brett balanced.

The MF is not overdone for the style. Mellow, prounounced acerbity,
Pleasant but out of balance.

Excellent taste. Citrus and Brett meld together. More pleasurable than other beers in the style.
Drinkable and well- defined.

Overall, an excellent wild Ale with lots of character.

Pours mildly hazy pale orange with a fizzy white head. Aromas of candied orange, Brett, and some hay. Flavored of sour orange, sweet tarts, and hints of hops.

Poured a murky gold color with one finger of head that disappeared quickly. Smells tart with a citrus undertone. Definitely sour tasting! The orange comes out a little at the end. Good mouthfeel, what you'd expect from a sour ale. I will try each version of this they put out.

Poured a golden, murky color with 2-to-3 fingers of fizzy, white, foamy head. Scattered bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Lots of foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. Excellent, thick retention. (Sight - 4.00)

Pours a hazy medium dark Amber color with off-white head. Brett, citrus fruit, and some tartness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes tart and dry with some lingering fruit notes.

Solid sour. Not sure I could tell its a wit with all of the Brett in there, but quite good nonetheless.

Poured out a light to straw yellow color with a small, fizzy head. It smelled of coriander, wheat and yeast. It tasted strongly of orange peel. Nice blend of wheat and lemon flavors, too. It was sharp and crisp.

Murky straw-colored brew, topped with a very fizzy white head which quickly dissipates.

Musty and funky aroma; old cheese. Up close, deep whiffs reveal a citric edge, wheat, tartness to the funk, and a tiny bit of fruity sweetness.

Flavor mostly follows: musty, wheaty, funky, tart. Lemons and hay; oak; peaches.

Moderate tartness and puckering; easy, oily feel. Smooth.

This is an interesting brew. The Brett is really showcased, but the base beer isn't particularly impressive to me. Nothing bad, but for the price Crooked Stave charges, this is not one of their most impressive offerings.

Light golden colored with a hazy complexion that doesn't allow light to penetrate the beer. A fingernail of off white head covers part of the rim of the glass. Vibrant carbonation bubbles keep surfacing. The aroma is a fierce blend of citrus and Brettanomyces. The flavor just as advertised in the nose with the citrus in the forefront. The Brett is more apparent at the back of the palate. The mouth is heavily carbonated and crisp.

Interesting for the style. Reminds me a lot of Gose. Which makes me wonder why I paid the same as a full 6 pack, but, this one also has character that even Westbrook Gose does not have. This one was Batch 5, navel orange.

Appearance: Poured fairly gently into the glass not a lot of head in this one. Carbonation was present though. Golden hazy appearance. Almost cider like in that regard.

Aroma: Some funk as it warmed, not as funky at first when it was on the colder side. Some orange notes definitely came through, very citrus like in the notes.

Taste: Tart, some funk but not strong in that regard. I did detect the oak from the barre. This one might be a little young. With time more flavors the earthy funk might come out more prominent. As for now, I truly enjoy what is laid before me.

Overall: Not a bad representation. A little pricey for what it is, but it is a nice experience nonetheless, very clean finish which is typical of the style. Well balanced and worth seeking out in my opinion.
