Last beer of the night - Sunday session at World of Beer UCF. There is not much more I can add to the body of knowledge about this beer except:
If you like hefeweizn and have not drunk it then you must place it at the top of your drinking list.
If you like American Wheats and want to expand your horizons then this is the beer for you.
Weihenstephaner the Rolls Royce of Beer.
Actually, I can see a Vitus looking longingly out of the fridge ...

Had on-tap at Bier Garden Asheville. Served in a pint glass.

A- Pours a hazy dark amber color with a 1/4 inch off-white head that retains decently before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of sheer surface foam.

S- Bright, effervescent and somewhat sweet. High yeast presence with notes of banana and bubble gum.

T- Straightforward yeasty flavor brings notes of banana and coriander. Extremely drinkable and quite tasty. Lots of wheat with minimal bitterness.

M- Milky texture with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.

O- Good stuff and I haven't revisited this one in years but I also had the Vitus recently and I prefer that Inez's intensity of flavor.

The pinnacle of the Hefeweizen style. This is the one that all others should be judged by. Really nothing more to say than absolute perfection.

One of the best of its kind. It's pricey, but worth it.
