Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-poured white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. Translucent but not transparent this "hefe weissbier" or yeast wheat beer pours yellow, yes yellow in color. Unfiltered bursting with carbonation leaving rings on the glass as you drink it is one of the best wheats ever made. Not only is it the best but it 'a the first claiming that it was first brewed in 1040 AD. Fragrant citrus bouquet. Carbonated not bitter citrusy wheat taste on the palate that lingers as a slightly sweet beer. Possibly floral at the finish. The best lingering flavor for a wheat I've ever tasted. True Bavarian (Munich region) beer. Not hard to find but don't underestimate it's greatness.

A - 4.5 - Definitely gotta give this one it's looks. Crystal clear golden amber color with a nice thick white head that sticks and leaves nice lacing.
S - 4.75 - Very full and clean smell. Lemon, wheat, banana, maybe even a tiny bit of vanilla? The best wheat beer I've ever smelled.
T - 4.25 - More wheat, banana, clove, lemon. Little less complex than the smell, but I can tell why people like this one.
M - 4.25 - Light mouthfeel. Easy drinking for sure. Aftertaste is yeasty bready malts. This beer makes you burp fresh lemons. Nice.
O - 4.5 - It's a great beer. World class for sure. This is the best wheat beer I've had, usually they have some off flavors, but this one was so clean and awesome.

bottle poured into wheat beer glass

A - pours up a crystal clear medium gold with a nice fluffy two finger head, good retention, and good lacing.

S - bananas are the dominant smell with some earthy notes present as well.

T - lemon, bananas, clove, yeast, with a dry finish

M - good carbonation with a bit of an aftertaste

O - best hefe I've ever had. I don't think the USA has mastered this style yet like the German brewers have yet.

Big thanks to SebD for sending me this.

A: pours a clear light hay colour with 4 fingers of tight dense off white head. Continuous stream of carbonation trickle to the surface.

S: upfront notes rock sugar, wheat and yeast with spices of cloves and nutmeg. Slight notes of lemon in the background.

T: follows the scent with sweet notes up front followed by wheat, yeast, spices and mineralness. Hints of lemon zest on he finish.

M: medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

O: an exceptionally crisp and clean refreshing whit. Would definitely seek out again for a hot summer day on the patio.
