bottle poured into wheat beer glass

A - pours up a crystal clear medium gold with a nice fluffy two finger head, good retention, and good lacing.

S - bananas are the dominant smell with some earthy notes present as well.

T - lemon, bananas, clove, yeast, with a dry finish

M - good carbonation with a bit of an aftertaste

O - best hefe I've ever had. I don't think the USA has mastered this style yet like the German brewers have yet.

Big thanks to SebD for sending me this.

A: pours a clear light hay colour with 4 fingers of tight dense off white head. Continuous stream of carbonation trickle to the surface.

S: upfront notes rock sugar, wheat and yeast with spices of cloves and nutmeg. Slight notes of lemon in the background.

T: follows the scent with sweet notes up front followed by wheat, yeast, spices and mineralness. Hints of lemon zest on he finish.

M: medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

O: an exceptionally crisp and clean refreshing whit. Would definitely seek out again for a hot summer day on the patio.
