Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-poured white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. Reviewed 4/19/13, 11.2 oz bottle in pint glass.

A - Pours a cloudy pale gold with a very large fluffy white head.

S - Spicy, coriander and a lot of it. Hints of banana and malt.

T - Light, nice, slightly sweet, malt, finishes with a yeasty spicyness. Dry not flashy but very tasty.

M - Light body, medium to high carbonation. Smooth and crisp, very drinkable.

O - Very enjoyable, light and refreshing. Not a big flavor beer but it makes you want to come back for more after every sip. The standard for hefeweizens.

11.2 ounce brown Euro bottle poured into a shaker pint glass. Cool label!

Appearance - The color of corn. Murky. Big head but it disappeared pretty quickly.

Smell - Malt. Salt water taffy (sweet). Sour.

Taste - Not to be repetitive but I taste malt and taffy. I also detect a very Belgian sour flavor (Is this because of the yeast?). Very tasty!

Mouth - Smooth and buttery. Fine yet prominent carbonation. A very substantial brew.

Overall - Delicious! I'm new to the whole hefeweissbier thing (the Shock Top/Blue Moon phenomenon has been a bit of a turn-off). Shame on me for waiting so long. I'm still not going to put a lemon wedge in my beer, though.

Poured in a blind tasting cup

Appearance: Golden yellow, with a thick white head.

Smell: Bananas, wheat.

Taste: bananas; Tastes like a classic hefeweizen.

Mouthfeel: Thin bodied moderate carbonation.

Overall, I tried this during a blind tasting and I preferred the krystal version over this. I wold definitely try this again. I am not really a huge wheat beer fan, but I approve of this one.
