330ml bottle poured in a chalice.
A: Pours a dark brown/black colour with a nice and dense foam head. Medium retention and some lacings left
S: Smells oak. Nice sweet smell. Candy sugar, caramel and roasted malts. Reminded me a whiskey or a good port wine.
T: Woody taste. Quite smooth. In fact, it tastes like it was bit stronger. Difficult to imagine that it's only 4.5% ABV beer
M: Light to medium body. Good carbonation. Moderate on sweet and bitterness
O: Definitely a drinkable beer. I could easily drink "half crate" of it... :p

Brown/black in the glass, with oily beige head. Aroma is slight, but taste is stronger, with some coffee bitterness and a hint of dark chocolate. Has almost a German dunkel character to it.

My second Breton buckwheat beer.
Looks murky brown in the glass with a rocky white head that leaves good lacing.
Smells of buckwheat (a certain distinct spiciness) and darker malts; milk chocolate, light coffee, (salty) caramel, hint of smoke, hint of barrel perhaps and sweetness.
Tastes nice, buckwheat and a chocolate/caramel sweetness. Slight coffee.
Medium-light, creamy mouthfeel with good carbonation composed of tiny bubbles.
Overal a very good beer, especially if you consider it is 4.5%.
Recommended.
I already like this buckwheat stuff!
