From lalonjadelacerveza.es. In Teku glass. Playing Thimbleweed Park. 1 week after bbf. Ultra drinkable, with light yet not watery body full of refreshing fruits, tropical and citrusy/lemony

Poured to a tumbler glass.

A: The body is yellow and crystalline with minimal white head. The retention is low and there's not any lacing.
S: The aroma is very citrusy with a minimal resinous profile. No hoppy nor malty profiles.
T: Clearly this is a passed beer, the taste is mellow, very soft and of weak bitterness that could only resemble an old APA. Not the best bottle or it has been on the fridge way too much. The taste is mostly citrusy and hoppy though.
M: The body is medium low. Carbonation is a bit harsh. Bitterness is medium. Alcohol is unnoticed.
O: Not the best time to have this beer, it's probably passed.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a pale yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was a huge, fluffy / rocky, long-lasting head. Good lacing.

S: A surprisingly powerful aroma of hops, light fruit, and pine.

T: Tasted of a good amount of mosaic hops, pine, light malt notes, mango, passion fruit, citrus (lemon), and grapefruit. A very fruity flavor with just enough hops to make it interesting. An incredibly well balanced taste.

F: A solidly carbonated beer with a dry finish. Light-bodied.

O: Onda is an enjoyable, lightweight APA. Well made, easy to drink - definitely a good beer for the summer.

11-3-16 date on the top. I assume that's March 11, 2016

Body is a cloudy golden with light head and lacing.

Smell strikes me first as juicy grapefruit. Light pineapple and mango notes. Really like this.

Damn, flavor is a let down. Cardboard and vegetal qualities first and foremost. Light resinous hop flavor on the finish. Slight onion. Taste is faint overall.

Fizzy and prickly at first and then becomes a bit fuller. Feels a bit watery, I'd say.

Not my favorite Omnipollo beer. I guess any brewery can strike out. Gotta wonder how the date impacted this.

A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 11th March 2016 poured into a Duvel tulip glass.

Appearance: It poured a hazy dark yellow colour with a big puffy 3 finger white head that has good retention and leaves thick sticky lacing.

Aroma: Very juicy tropical fruit especially mango, passionfruit, peach and apricot. There is also a hint of pine and citrus lemon.

Taste: Starts tropical with mango and pineapple before slowly turning lightly bitter with pine, lemon and grapefruit taking over.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with mid to high carbonation.

Overall: A nice pale ale that is easy to drink and refreshing.

Poured a murky dark straw color with over two fingers of bubbly white head. The nose is mostly citrus and pine from the mosaic hops but you get a slight hint of biscuit. The flavor is mango more than anything else but you get a little bit of pine bitterness to keep it from being too sweet. The feel is medium with a good amount of carbonation. This is an above average pale ale that is very drinkable and refreshing.

Smell is juicy tropical aromas - passionfruit, mango, guava, lemon, a hint of biscuit, and white wine.

Taste is a pretty good match with the smell - like a fruity tropical cocktail with a crisp white wine dry finish.

Overall, a really drinkable pale ale that stands up pretty well to a lot of better-recognized pale ales.

The colour is yellow with a tint of orange (10 EBC), the liquid is hazy (the beer is unfiltered). The two finger head is white and airy, it sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing.

The smell is bitter-sweet with exotic fruits (mango, bitter oranges, oranges), orange marmalade and lemon curd.

The taste is sweet, like a fruit soda. Clean notes of citric fruits and exotic fruits like mango, pineapple and bananas. Medium body. Smooth aftertaste with some French loaf, lemon candy and banana peel. The short finish reminds of exotic fruit juice.

The carbonation is strong, the many very small bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is smooth.

Kind of a one trick pony, but what it does, it does it good.

Poured from 330mL bottle into a dimpled mug.

Appearance: murky yellow hue with a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. Way cloudier than a pale ale ought to be but the head is very good indeed.

Smell: rich, green, grassy hops atop a lightly sweet malt base. Fresh and enticing!

Taste: the hops exhibit a slightly different character than in the aroma, with the same grassiness but with a dash of lemon in the mix. Fresh, zippy and balanced with the malt's sweetness. Great!

Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a light but airy creaminess. Not too bad.

Overall: this is a nicely hoppy and very, very drinkable pale ale. Great stuff.

Translucent golden ale with a fine and medium-height head. The smell is very floral and perfumed, with an addition of an acidic and citrusy smell, heavy on the grapefruit. The taste is light bitter with notes of lemon, lemon zest and a lot of grapefruit. Light body and medium carbonation, making for a refreshing drink.

Pours hazy light golden yellow with a white head, not much lacing. Smells very fresh with earthy pine, tropical fruits and herbal aroma. Tastes of nice fruitiness, citrusy with nice amount of sweetness. Finished with nice lingering hop flavours, light bodied and very drinkable. Not sure if I have had beers brewed with mosaic hops before, I certainly liked it a lot!

330 ml bottle into pint glass, best before 3/11/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, mango, melon, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, mango, melon, berries, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, grapefruit, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, pine, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent single hop pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Solid beer, worth a try but wouldn't go back to it for the price.

Looks hazy, pale orange with little cotton head. Smells fruity...pineapple and mangos with some earthiness. Taste is mild fruitiness similar to taste. Mouth feel is solid, above average carbonation. Overall very good pale ale, on the lighter end of pales but with definitive flavors.

Comes out a hazy gold from the bottle and gives a great, what seems like, a sweetness or tropical to the smell to it. Tasting it gives an almost starburst sensation of becoming juicy and sweet. Goes down lightly and lingers with that sweetness until your next sip. Really enjoyed it.

On tap at Spokeasy Public House

A: Pours hazy golden orange amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little light lacing.

S: Dank, herbal, kinda savory, citrus, light tropical and fruity notes, and a little sweetness.

T: Citrus, grapefruit and lemon, hints of tropical fruit and berry, a kinda butterscotch thing that actually works, a bit of pine, and a little light caramel malt sweetness.

M: On the lighter end of medium body, moderate carbonation, very drinkable.

O: Mosaic hops are slowly growing on me, but I think this one needs a little something extra to help push it over the edge. Still enjoyable though.

Pale hazy gold, thin skim of frothy white foam.
Aroma is peachy up front, with a little bit of pineapple and herbal botanicals.
Lightly bitter with a punch of herbal hops, lightly citric but not as fruity as the aroma unfortunately. Light bodied and a touch watery, though extremely drinkable. Enjoyed this, though $6.50 a 12 oz is pretty steep. It just sort of signals the need for a Mosaic pale ale in six packs that's less than $40... get on that America.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy golden straw with a half finger white head with excellent persistence and lacing. Aroma of lemon citrus hops, pineapple, mixed tropical fruit, bready malt; slightly floral. Flavor is lemon and grapefruit rind hops, mild caramel malt, finishes light with mixed citrus fruit rind bitterness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Initial flavor is quite pleasant mixed citrus hops with light mixed fruit, but finishes a bit abruptly, with little malt or hop flavor in the finish, although there is a pleasant citrus rind hop aftertaste. A bit weak in the finish, but a good single variety pale ale that presents the Mosaic hops nicely in a rather neutral malt body.

Poured a cloudy gold body with one finger head that sticks around and leaves lace patches. Earthy, citric hop aroma with mild sweet malts that are noticeable. Juicy (like white grapefruit juice), earthy and dirty citric hops in a light beer with bit of caramel malt sweetness for a light refreshing beer with crisp, spicy finish. While more hoppy than typical pale ale it is still light and enjoyable.

Bottle purchased at Oliver's Beverage in Albany, NY.

This pours a bright slightly hazy orange, with a half inch head, and a good amount of lacing. The lacing kind of looks like a guy with a sword, but I'm guessing that feature is only unique to my pour here.

This smells super juicy, orange, pineapple, and grapefruit, with some herbal and floral character as well.

This tastes really great. It's slightly watery on the finish, but other than, it's a perfectly crushable fruit bomb pale ale. There's a ton of orange and pineapple, with a bit of grapefruit, and some herbal bitterness near the end. It's got an almost gin-like botanical character near the end that's interesting. There's no malt character whatsoever.

This is light bodied, with a very crisp and juicy mouthfeel. This is insanely drinkable.

Another great hoppy masterpiece from Omnipollo, this is up there with the best pale ales I've ever had.

What is the pale ale becoming? Is it something of a drier and less sweet taste? Is it a hoppy beer to resemble IPA? Perhaps it's becoming the taste that the session IPA it trying to become.

Onda pour with a near pilsner-like pale straw color and almost brilliant clarity. Shedding a soft and arid foam, the ale carries a perfume that's zesty with musty lemon and a delicate herbal presence, but to taste, its short honeysuckle sweetness is laced with cracker and faint honey.

The sweetness lifts and the hops project across the middle palate. Facilitated by the eruptive carbonation, the taste is bright as unripe orange, lemon and grapefruit carry a nearly teeth-churning exotic fruit and herb profile. A late and peppery charge is shifting toward bitterness as the beer's botanical character takes hold.

Medium-light on the mouth, the beer is arid, crisp, clean and vibrant. Its soft resins dance delightfully on the throat while an acute bitterness do more than simply balance the malt. Onda is a highly refreshing choice for IPA lovers and those looking for more bite than the stalwart lager.
