A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 1st April 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.

Appearance: A deep dark purple-ish red colour with a one finger purple-ish pink colour head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving some sparse lacing.

Aroma: Tart and sour with a Ribena like aroma of blueberry, blackcurrant and grape with hints of grapefruit.

Taste: Tart and lightly sour. Again like the aroma, the Ribena comes through with blackcurrant, blueberry and grape. There is also hints of salt. Sourness increases towards the end along with acidity.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with high spritzy carbonation.

Overall: Very refreshing and very easy to drink with nice amount of fruit and tartness.

330 mL bottle. Pours a murky deep purple (with some really icky purple gunk inside the cap and neck). Smells of intense berries. Like blackcurrant. Hefty lactic aroma, like yogurt. Tastes of blackcurrant, mineral flavor, yogurt. Sharp tartness. Light body. Impressive.

The colour is deep, warm purple-red, the liquid is clear. The finger thick airy pink-purple head sinks down to a few bubbles leaving no lacing on the glass.

The smell is a bit tart with distinct notes of fresh unripe bilberries, and a touch of sea salt. Tart hints of dry apple cider, raspberries and green wine grapes.

The taste is sour-tart with passing notes of bilberries, blueberries, salty sea water, unripe red berries and sour fruit candy. Light balanced clean sweetness. Light to medium body. Growing salt and somewhat harsh unripe red fruits/berries in the aftertaste as well as salty sea water, bilberries, rosehips and blueberry chewing gum. The long finish got fresh bilberry/raspberry/juniper flavours and a hint of salty liquorice.

The carbonation is mild, yet there are lots of very small fresh long-lived bubbles. The liquid is light and quite harsh in the mouth.

Very far from a macro pale lager, this is a highly refreshing and fruity take on the gose style. Enjoyable!

All about refreshing blueberries. A tart and balanced gose. The salt brings roundness but doesn't alter the taste. It's a really good brew, real blueberry. Nonetheless I think the raspberry one was much more complex

Easy pouring, with a strong bouquet of blueberry yoghurt in a blender. Tastes light and ribena-y, with a slight salty kiss at the end. Thin mouth feel typical of the style. Definitely worth seeking out this range.

33cl bottle. Dark ruby pour with a medium height pink head. Blueberries, grapefruit, sour cherries, yogurt, unripe mango and a ton of fruit sourness, tobacco (the taste it leaves in your mouth after you smoke a lot), followed by lactic acid and a hint of farmhouse funk. Sour aftertaste, full of fruit. Quite refreshing. Did I say it’s sour as hell?

Dark, crimson color with pink head, looks gorgeous. Aroma is straight-up blueberry yogurt. Fruity, slightly sweet and lactic. Taste starts tart up-front with lots of blueberries. Finishes fruity and acidic. Medium, soft body with just the right amount of carbonation. Another great gose from Omnipollo. Tart, extremely fruity, great looks, nice mouthfeel and it has the extra yogurt feel from the lactose.
