A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 14th February 2019. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Appearance: A hazy straw yellow colour with a big three finger frothy white head that had good retention while leaving some lacing.

Aroma: Melon, papaya, grapefruit, citrus rind and peel and pine.

Taste: Bitter, grapefruit rind and peel, light sweetness, maybe pineapple, pine and grass.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: Quite nice, especially the aroma. But I didn’t get much wheat in the aroma nor in the taste.

From Hopt. In Teku glass. Playing Avernun 2. Very fruity, citrusy in a neipa fashion, with grassy notes. Improves with each sip, ending quite addictive. Didnt notice the wheat

Hazy pale yellow color with fluffy white head. Aroma has sweet pastry notes and citrusy hops with a touch of alcohol in the back. Taste is quite balanced at first, continues with some slightly astringent herbal hops, weird slightly smoky finish. Medium body and carbonation. This one is a bit weird but still quite good.

Pours an unclear yellow with soapy foam.

Smell is full of fresh citrus with some tea and grass.

Taste is citrusy with a nice bitterness and some tea and grassy notes.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a fairly mellow Omnipollo IPA, they are usually crazier than this. Still tasty!

L: Hazy golden color, one finger white head, messy lacing, good carbonation.

S: Spicy, hoppy, tropical fruits.

T: Spicy, hoppy, tropical fruits, malty. Slightly bitter on the back end. Tastes more like a great APA than a DIPA.

F: Light bodied, extremely drinkable.

O: Very good beer but I would market it as an APA, not a DIPA.

L: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a bright yellow color and a very cloudy consistency. There was an inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Good lacing.

S: A nice aroma of light fruit, hops, and a little malt.

T: Tasted of some pale malt notes, a fair amount of hops (just the right amount), a light grassy quality, a bunch of citrus (lemon, in particular), and tropical fruit (mango). A fruity, zesty flavor that's light and enjoyable. The grassy quality (not my favorite) is intrusive, but not overwhelmingly so. Quite tasty.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Light-bodied.

O: This is a well made, extremely enjoyable DIPA. Definitely a drinkable beer.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy straw amber with a thin white head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, grapefruit, slighlty dank. Flavor follows, light pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, grapefruit rind, hints of tropical fruit and little bit of funk. Finishes with lemon and citrus hops. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A citrus forward IPA with good, but simple hop herbal flavor. Lemon is nice, good hop bitterness. Flavor is straightforward but maybe a bit one note. I like these hazy IPAs; the odd straw color, with virtually no gold of copper is unusual.

Bottle into a snifter. Opaque in appearance, dingy yellow in color. Looks like pineapple juice. 2 fingers of bubbly, white foam. Nose is juicy tropical fruit -mango, citrus, pineapple, grapefruit. Some lemon peel in there as well. On the sweeter side - more fruity than dank. The taste has all the same characters as the aroma, but seemingly toned down. Fruity, but not juicy. Slightly tart. Much more hop character than the smell led me to believe. Different, but not bad. The feel leaves something to be desired for me. I found this one to be surprisingly watery and thin. Not a deal breaker, but nothing like what it looked to be in the glass.

pours murky yellow green with sudsy head and some floaties. nose is lemon zest with some grassy bready notes in there. taste is bitter alcohol up front followed by some serious astringancy giving way to a nice end palate of sweet fruit. mouthfeel is medium. underwhelming to me and won't seek out again. end palate is good but the rest seems like a mess.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright/juicy citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors lingering after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness; lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky/resinous, and creamy/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.2%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

This beer pours a slightly hazy yellow at first, but by the bottom of the bottle it is extremely cloudy. The head is solid, with very nice lacing. The aroma is very earthy, dank, cannabis-filled, accompanied with a solid does of lemon. The flavor actually leads with the lemon, followed by the cannabis and earthy funk, with some peppery and oil flavors also present. The mouthfeel is light, fizzy, and almost abrasive. Overall this is a definitely different IPA, very funky, odd combination of flavors, very yeasty by the end. I really do love this beer.

look: 3.75 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75

Poured from the bottle into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Slightly hazy body color, with a very pale appearance. Light yellow and slightly brown in color. Thick and rocky head off of the pour and a big easy four finger controlled top. Bright white soapy appearance, clumpy lacing and a good island puck and mountain in the center.

Very herbal hop aroma, and mixes of tropics with a bit of pickle brine sensations on the nose. Spiced green herbs with an airy almost mint like sweetness but more pungent. Slightly airy pine in a way as well, but seems to me more in the new hop exotic strains category going on here. Solid and pleasant.

Palate gets a little less impressive. Light bodied and a bit watery for an imperial, with a pleasant tropical note and hints of lemon and pineapple. Aftertaste has quite a bit of bitter astringency, slightly lime and hot, but with more wood pine tones that sticks around and doesn't seem to wear off. Mildly chalky aftertaste as well, and a bit of a grainy powdery sensing malt bill.

An ok brew, but the palate isn't producing the best of goods here.

On Tap at The Native Social Pub poured in a 12oz snifter

Super hazy straw yellow with with a thin lacy head

Citrusy hops asault the nose followed by hay, pine, hay, and herbs. No booze

The flavor is bright and citrusy. Pleasant but firm bitterness hides the light malt flavor. Again, no booze. Herbal notes linger on

Very dry mouthfeel with a lingering bitterness.

Overall a really solid ipa. I do like them dry so this pleases me. Seems fitting of a NE IPA tag.

Foggy yellow topped by a thin layer of bubbly white creaminess. Aroma has that fresh hop pellet greenness that I love...pine needles, grapefruit, and herbs over a light cakey malt. Deeper, more tropical in nature as it warms. Flavor is hoppy: spicy fresh, bright, and citrusy. Green herbs, grapefruit, passion fruit, flowers, and just plain oily hop resin goodness. Medium-light, smooth, and nicely dry for it's strength. Supremely refreshing stuff that I would crush regularly if they canned it at a decent price.

Exploring their way through the world of hops, Omnipollo's Aurora flirts with imperial strength while retaining a dry, drinkable and dangerously smooth bittering power to have the quenchability of standard American IPA. Exotic, citrusy, earthy and piney- this IPA does it all!

Moderately turbid and pale gold, the beer's appearance is of opaque yellow hues with a creamy, frothy, persistent cap. Its scent is an herbal perfume of under-ripe citrus, berry, a freshly mowed lawn and juniper-type spruceness. Supple and sweet, its malty upstart is redolent with fruit juice, honeysuckle and angel-food cake.

The hops erupt on the middle palate, bringing a host of tropical, citrus and berry flavors. White grapefruit, white grape, under-ripened juniper, mango, pineapple and passionfruit all gain intensity as the sweetness fades and the beer's more herbal bitterness signals a closure in taste. Fresh grass clipping, green tea, sprucy gin and gently muddled pine needles frame beer's lasting flavor.

Dry, crisp and refreshing, the beer's medium-light body boasts a fast dissolving creaminess that turns bitter, resinous and semi-arid. Lightly astringent with hop leaf and stem; promoting a grassy, rind-like bite in finish. Lingering tropical fruit skins, orange pith and chive-like herbs keeps the exotic flavors coming even deep in the throat.

This beer pours a cloudy straw yellow color with a 2 finger fluffy white head. Retention is about pretty average and there is thin whispy lacing. Smell is earthy green, lemon zest and hop spiciness. Taste is the same. Feel is light and prickly. Overall an ok beer, but nothing I'd seek out again. Well below the standard Omnipollo has set with some of their other beers.

No date on the bottle, but it must be on the fresh side as i haven't seen these bottles around. Tangerine, orange zest, grapefruit pith and zest. Creamy mouthfeel. Turbid. Fruity. Dry mouthfeel. Gotta be dry hopped to hell. Really awesome. Reminds me of a Trillium ipa. It's phenomenal.

Pours a murky gold with medium carbonation and a finger and a half of head. Smells of hops and tropical fruits. First taste is hops, followed with loads of fruity flavors of banana, melon, passion fruit and citrus. The hops return with a bitter aftertaste with hints of malt. Overall a very good IPA that makes good use of fruit flavors. Plus points for the cool artwork on the bottle.

Pours hazy golden. Bottle conditioned I'm guessing due to the inch of yeast drop out on the bottom of the bottle. Grapefruit flower is the predominate flavor and aroma. Comes of very dry, almost tart, which is really nice paired with the subtle aromatics and grapefruitiness. It has a character and a drinkability that definitely feels non-American, which is a nice change I think if you're palate is getting a little tired of the same flavors we get in American IPA's. If you can get your hands on some I wouldn't pass it up.

Pours a gorgeous, hazed sun-gold with admirable retention.
Nose of pineapple, zesty citrus, lemongrass, young spruce, and wet white flower. Prickly-bright tropical, resinous, and acidic aroma.
Flavor is ethereally sweet, notes of pastel lemon, abundance of vibrant flowers, pasty red apple lingering around. Subtle passion fruit and mandarin add dimension to this high-noted, floral ale.
Delicate, unique, drinkable, bright, inspiring, vibrant, and lifted.
Near the bottom of the bottle, the pours get delightfully milky.
These Crazy Mountain brews are wonderful. Now we can experience Omnipollo without the dubious gamble of overseas shipping.
