The liquid is hazy, the colour cold yellow. The beer was “soft served” which means that it is topped with beer slush. There is a low white head below the ice. Some lacing occurs.
The smell is sweet-tart with spices (cloves, cardamom, cinnamon).
The taste starts with an aggressive sharp chemical bitterness. Growing sweetness, some spices, wheat dough and vanilla. Medium body. The aftertaste got sweet notes and phenolic spices with cloves. The finish is bitter-sweet with some bread-flavours.
The carbonation is strong, the small sharp bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is smooth.
Does it taste like semla pastry? Yes. Did I like it? Well…
