Taking the Fat where the Fat has never gone before, Omnipollo doesn't only give their famed Fatamorgana a facelift, but gives it also a quadruple bypass of hops.

Quadruplle Dry Hopped Fatamorgana pours a turbid burnt orange, goldenrod and with a brassy matte finish. A rich froth blankets the rim while the scent is bursting with tropical fruit, citrus, herb and pine. Pastry sweet on the early palate, its bready malts are lightly caramelized and seem to be dipped in honey, rolled in granola and mildly dough with croissant.

Its rich hop flavors weave into the lasting malt starches with a tarte fruit flavor. Passionfruit, mango, pineapple, gooseberry and kiwi provide an exotic tropical fruit punch character while blood orange, red grapefruit and a pep of lime sherbet tease the senses with a bright and citrusy punch. Trending herbal on the late palate, a sense of black tea, lemon verbena, juniper, chive and lemongrass align on the back of the tongue with a firm and peppery bitterness.

Medium full and rich on the palate with creamed hop character, the fusion of malt to hops remain seamless yet strong. A long linger of tropical fruit rinds, geranium and pine resonate loudly on the throat for a resinous but floral taste throughout. A firm gin-like spice warms the mouth while applying a refreshing mint-like evaporative cooling.

This one pours a super hazy and murky golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like pulpy orange juice, tangerine, mango, chive, fresh cut grass, passionfruit, and pine.

This tastes incredibly juicy, with only the slightest weedy and green bitterness on the finish. It's got that slight tartness I get from real orange juice, with lots of tangerine, mango, and and a hint of passionfruit and grapefruit.

This is medium bodied, and fairly creamy, with a decent level of carbonation.

This beer is like the scene in A Christmas Story, you remember the one:

"A double-dog-dare. What else was there but a "triple dare you"? And then, the coup de grace of all dares, the sinister triple-dog-dare! Schwartz created a slight breach of etiquette by skipping the triple dare and going right for the throat."

As far as I know, there's regular Fatamorgana, and then there's quadruple dry-hopped Fatamorgana. At no point did Omnipollo make double or triple dry hopped versions of this. Despite this egregious breach of etiquette, this is a pretty tasty beer. It's very raw but enjoyable.

Pours a hazy yellow straw color, minimal head. Fantastic hop aroma - loads of citrus here: orange, lemon, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is citrusy with a dose of floral flavor, quite unique. Overall a really enjoyable DIPA, probably a little old but still very good.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Cloudy golden pour with fluffy off-white head. Great lacing.

S: Citrus, stone fruit, and papaya. Tropical hops.

T.F: Light malts and fruit sweetness up front. Citrus and tropical... strawberry, papaya, mango, and grapefruit mixed with stone fruits. Modest bitterness... oily on the tongue. Some pepper/spice. Lingering citrus and apricot at the finish.

O: A fantastic big-hopped DIPA. Great aroma and flavor. I'd never heard of these guys but need to check out more of their stuff. Worth seeking out.

The pour on this is a deep, hazy golden yellow, with creamy gobs of white head that lace heavily around the glass as the foam settles into the beer.

Initially, the nose is full of strong notes of tropical pineapple and citrus aromas. Quickly following behind are grapefruit peel and dank, piney hops that work to balance the initial sweetness from the tropical fruit. Throughout is a distinctly boozy aroma, strong but not overwhelming.

Similar to the nose, the palate is full of pineapple. Following closely is a hoppier flavor that contrasts the aromas well. Its boozy character matches the nose, with pithy hops and citrusy subtleties making for a diverse and pleasant flavor profile.

The mouthfeel on this is smooth and full-bodied. Creamy and sticky in the finish; warm as it goes down. Like with the regular Fatamorgana, the ABV is 8%, however the QDH is distinctly boozier than the ABV reflects.

Pours an opaque dull-orange that develops a finger of white foam after a modest pour straight into the glass. Head retention is okay. Aroma is a dense curtain of tropical fruits, nailing notes of mango, papaya, tangerine, and orange zest. Malts are hidden behind the tropical fruits. Flavor profile is big, with tangerine, papaya, mango, and orange and lemon zest with biscuit and pale malts. Flavor oozes from every ounce, although is nearly completely focused on hops. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a chalky, light-graininess. Overall, tropical fruit notes are plentiful here, but out weigh and mask the base malts. It's packed with flavor making for a wonderful sipping experience.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 16oz can.

L Orangish yellow very hazy, 1 finger of head with sustained lacing

S Mostly fresh citrus, hop driven ( I do not know the hops combo, but just that it is quadrahopped, creamier, juicier and better than the regular double hopped Fatamorgana), some tropical and herbal notes.

T Superbly balanced, follows the nose, there is orange citrus, there is pineapple and peach tropical sweetness, also a bit of melon and pear in there, then there is some spicy earthiness, with just a hint of herbal. A juice bomb but also more complex than that.

F So smooth and creamy

O A great beer. Try it if you can find it. As I said their baseline double hopped Fatamorgana is very good, but this takes it to another level (and it will cost you, worth it IMO).

To star off, this beer is amazing.
Look, strong hazy bright yellow.
Smell, tropical fruits and even some alcohol on the nose.
Taste, perfectly balanced amount of bitterness, sweetness, and fruitiness.
Feel, sightly thinner than I was expecting, but a nice creamy mouth feel is still present.
Overall, its a great beer, pricing seems about right too.
