What a solid brew. Exceeds expectations.

It's pale yellow with plenty of fizz, and the aroma is skunky but inoffensive. The taste is a unique treat. Oat malts seem to have given this a very pleasing edge. It sticks with you too, and it's carrying enough alcohol to keep you satisfied.

Highly recommended.

PS: I am taking crazy pills, though. The can is of US origin, not Sweden - variant? Seems fresh. Delicious, well spent $5.

Another attempt at a hazy juice bomb that somehow comes off tasting like briney bubblegum. Can states it's brewed in New Haven CT so not sure why it's attributed to Sweden? Looks and tastes like many other saltwater tasting east coast brews. Not bad but damn sure not impressive, the saving grace is the well hidden abv.

Canned on 02-03-21.

A - Opaque dark golden tan color with thick white lacing.

S - Strong tropical fruit aroma: citrus, pineapple, mango, and papaya.

T - Pineapple, papaya, mango, citrus, some slight peppery tropical fruit rind, and some piney bitterness at the very end. However, for 8.5%, the booziness wreaks havoc from start to finish and competes with the flavor for attention - it's an annoying distraction. By the last sip there's a really nice spicy/peppery tropical fruit rind presence.

M - Thick, chewy, and pillowy soft on the palate. There is some warming in the back of the throat.

O - 'Would love to score this one higher (blame the booze). However, it is a solid beer. (To be fair: As a side note, the initial alcohol hit eventually dies down after the palate adjusts and more tropical fruit shines through. I raised my score.)

As the thirst among hop heads shift so does the flame. Denoted with a candle on the label, Omnipollo doubles down on their "Maz" hazy Pale Ale with a stronger, juicier, fuller and more intense flavor and feel. This beer is going to be red hot in popularity.

Peachy gold in its color, the beer saturates with a pale matte finish. Its dry hop character is once again evident with a bevy of tropical, orchard, citrus and stone fruit that billows above a creamy off-white meringue. Easy on the palate, a creamy sweet upstart is fueled with shortcake, honey and starchy cereal grain.

Its all-IPA attitude is bursting with grapefruit, ripe oranges, pineapple and apricot as the hops abound on the middle palate. The retention of malt sweetness gives the fruity hop character a sweeter, more candied effect. An even fade to a smooth hop bite and a refreshing citrus bitterness closes herbal and grassy with a mildly pungent bouquet.

Medium-full in body, the beer now leans malty dry with the creaminess of marshmallow-like fluffiness. Its finish is fruity and hemp-like with a moderate resinous bitterness that stick to the throat in gin-like warmth, lingering with the long taste of fruit peels afterwards.
