On tap at the Blue Monk in Buffalo, NY.

Pours a bright yellow/orange-ish color, with an off-white 2 inch head, and some good lacing.

Smells include earthy hops, soap, orange, and lemon.

There's a weird dirty taste to this I don't love. Slightly soapy, grassy, with some underlying citrus and lemon flavors. I think the hop flavor might have been a little faded at this point, as the citrus hop flavors weren't all that bright. Sweet malt flavors.

Light to medium body, well carbonated, not all that drinkable due to reasons stated above.

Fatamorgana is a game changer, this one's a bit disappointing.

This beer poured out as a slightly hazy yellow color. The head on top was white and had a good amoun of retention to it. The smell of the beer had a pretty good balance of hoppy aromas and yeasty grains in the mix. The taste of the beer had a subtle sweetness up front that quickly faded into a sharp bitterness. The mouthfeel is crisp and clean feeling. It's drinkable but a little too sharp to be sessionible I think. Overall it's a pretty good brew. I wouldn't have to buy it again though.

Purchased from Stearns Liquor in Long Beach. Poured into shaker pint glass. Love the artwork. Good carbonation on this. Had to really slow the pour down. Big white fluffy head. Smell is decent. This is a pretty good pale ale. It's got a modest hop profile with a nice malt backbone to it. Mouthfeel is good. Overall I would drink this again but the price is a bit steep for a 12oz bottle ($7.99). cheers!

Light golden colour poured from candled bottle. Fresh and light tasting but lovely apricot nose and bittersweet palate. Moreish.
