A - The beer pours with a small head of loose white foam on top of a slightly hazy, dark golden body. The head settles quickly and leaves little lace.
S - Sweet malt with notes of pear, clove, and vanilla.
T - Sweet malt up front with some pear and pineapple. Spicy notes of clove and herbal hops in the middle with a finish of vanilla, moderate hop bitterness, and more clove.
M - Medium-thick body, moderately high carbonation, and a sweet finish.
D - The yeast character is robust, but one dimensional with a dominant clove flavor. The finish is overly sweet and the beer lacks the drinkability that a good example of the style should have. Not something I would drink again.

A- This beer pours a very yeast hazed toffee color with a rather dull head....it is white in color and is more of a ring around the glass than a film.....what is there does retain well! Carbonation appears to be fine in nature and plentiful and this has modest lacing that clings to the glass before sliding back into the liquid....better than average at best.
S- Initial aromas of butterscotch, cotton candy, bubble gum, caramel, rum & butter, light toffee, heavy vanilla, and perhaps some fruitiness, such as pear and overripe banana, but I don't get the general smells that previous reviewers are sensing.....its much sweeter on the nose than I anticipated but very nice overall! Full marks in this category for sure!
T- OK!....the fruits very much show up on the palate where they lacked on the nose.....there are plenty of notes of apricot, candied apple, pineapple tartness, ripe banana, pears to name most of it, with hints of peach and/or nectarine as well. The spices used are there and are subtle in the flavors....mild notes of clove, cinnamon and nutmeg are noted and there is a very yeasty biscuit quality about this one! Everything is so well balanced it is unbelievable!
M/O- Medium bodied and velvety carbonation make up the texture of this one.....this is rich and succulent, and I think would make an excellent dessert brew! The other thing to note is that I had aged this one for a couple of years and the alcohol is virtually non existent....that's how well blended everything has become! This one comes highly recommended and I think gives any Belgian produced Triple a run for its' money!!

Pours a one-finger cream head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving traces lace. Hazy amber color, ton of yeast left in bottle. Medium-strong carbonation and medium bodied. Spicy caramel nose and flavor is similar. Higher ABV is hidden. $3.65 for a 12oz bottle from Bert's Better Beers Hooksett NH.
