Poured on tap at Meridian Pint in a snifter glass full 8 ounces.

Just a beaming bright deep yellow brass gold. Just shimmering and bright BRIGHT clarity. Thin cream head presented and slightly off white in color. Thin middle rising carbonation and glows like a christmas ornament. Real impressive.

Nose is much subdued than it's non barrel aged brethren. Muted indistinct floral softness. Large notes of cream and almost vanilla character but not as sweet.

Palate comes with a large very big rounded mouthful but at a cost. Thick and lush body, a mix of balanced juicy and silky quality which somehow seems impossible but there it is. Large notes of white grape juice, slight floral hop finish but with a good mild thick malt coating.

Overall it feels real hammered down and taken over by oak aging, with much of it's unique nose and farmhouse character completely lost. It does drink well though, but it feels like it misses much of it's original character that made it special.
