Brau Pils is a straight forward Pilsner with a light body, moderate carbonation and an assertive yet restrained hop character. Aromas of earthy, spicy noble hops are chased by a rich, cracker-like note backed up with clean, malty notes and a neutral lager yeast profile.

On draft, in pint glass.
Clear light golden in color, foamy white head that leaves a collar around the glass. Aroma and taste is crisp and clean - bready pale malt balanced by mild grassy hops

Aroma is a bit subdued, neither malt nor hops really asserting, but the flavor profile brings more to the table with a balanced pils malt and spicy, herbal noble hops combo with light-moderate bitterness with a dry, crisp finish. Solid pils although wish there was a touch more bitterness and floral hop character.

Pale golden color, good clarity. Pours a good sized white head, tightly bubbled and with some decent retention.
Aroma very subtle - not much in the way of hops. Has the minimal aroma of a clean lager. Hop aroma becomes more evident as it warms.
Delicate malt flavor up front, matched with more assertive spicy noble hop flavors. Not a sharp break toward bitterness on the back end, but does have a lingering hop bitterness in the finish. Not quite as bitter as would have anticipated for the style.
Fairly light body, medium-high carbonation. Spritzy and refreshing.
An easy drinking, pale hoppy lager. Not the crispest of interpretations, but I think this smoothing of the edges enhances the drinkability.

12oz can. No dating information found.
Mostly clear, pale straw colored body. Tremendous rising bubble show. Long lasting fat finger of white, pillow head. Leaves a thick ring of lacing.
Aroma has toasted bread malt and slightly fruity, floral hops.
Taste is first with a balance of toasted bread malt and floral hops, and then the spice of the hops comes in. Quick fade off in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Light on flavor but balanced in execution. Very easy to quaff and would match up well with many savory foods.

Pours a bright straw yellow with a 1/4th inch white head that dissipates very quickly. Drinkable and refreshing Pilsner. Lively carbonation and a light mouthfeel. Great go-to beer that fits most occasions.

12oz. can served in a willibecker. Pours a dull, pale yellow with a slight haze to the clarity and a loose, 1/8th inch head that quickly disperses towards the edges. Nose expresses ready/yeasty notes and perhaps a hint of lemon zest. Taste follows nose with a hint of some earthy/medicinal notes at the finish. Mouthfeel is light in body with a lively carbonation that leaves a residual prickle across the tongue. Overall, decent and drinkable at a fair price point but nothing special.

Bright straw yellow and almost clear with a nice pillow of white foam on top. Floral notes and bread on the nose, a little bit of citrus too. Mild flavor of bready malts with a small but clean balancing floral hop note to finish it. Just a touch of pepperiness in the back end. Mouthfeel is pretty full, and it finishes just shy of clean. Carbonation is a smooth medium. Pretty classic example of the style, nothing over the top but also nothing that stands out as next level. Easy to knock back though.

Bright yellow appearance with a small white head and light lacing. Muted aroma of fresh hay and biscuits. Modest sweetness yields to spicy hops. Clean, crisp aftertaste. Light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Finish is short lived.

Appearance is hazy yellow/orange with and a nice 2 finger. Very IPA like in appearance. Aroma is very bready/buscuity. Taste is the same with a really nice bready beer with light crisp finish from bittering hops but not a very noticable aroma/flavor of hops. Overall this is a spectacular pilsner. Glad it's in my local area, but it has been very elusive to find. Hope distribution improves.
