355ml can from Home Bargains (£1.99):
Pale golden straw with a lot of visible carbonation & quite a thin bubbly white head that breaks up soon after. Pine hops & citrus notes, slightly floral & stronger smelling than anticipated. It's quite a bitter & piney taste as well, dry hops & grapefruit with a floral backing then a faint sweetness towards the end. It's well carbonated & there's a strong hop bitterness; surprisingly good after not looking the best when poured.

Purchased at Home Bargains as previous reviewer. Light gold colour with foamy head. Smells of lemon and apple. Feel is slightly thicker than I anticipated, taste less sweet. Slightly leafy, gooseberry but less sweet, definitely on the hoppy side. Good. Wish I'd bought more than one can.

Canned in a little stubbie crafty craft can and surprisingly purchased from budget shop chain Home Bargains
Pours a pear flesh coloured body with splatterings of white head
Aroma is glucose and wrigley’s juicy fruit
Flavour is shortbread malt and a nice biting gooseberry

12oz can into a tall glass. Canned 4/14/21, so 7 weeks old.

Looks pretty good in the glass. Slightly hazy yellow with amber highlights body. Small white head shrinks to a covering, only a little lacing.

A little floral on the aroma.

On tasting, clean, good balance between hop and malt. A little dry.

Mouth above medium, finish dry with a hint of lemon.

Overall, on a hot day, this is just the ticket. Clean, sessionable, easy drinking, with some flavor to it. Nice one.

12 ounce can poured into a can glass.

After a 6 pack of these I have to say, in my opinion, this is above average for a session IPA. More spicy/tropical aroma and flavor than I expected for the ABV. Very crisp with some softness underneath. Very drinkable.

This is still probably my favorite DC brewery at the moment, although Atlas continues to up its game. I know session IPAs are ubiquitous now and not everyone is a fan, but I am definitely a fan. This has a rocky, splendid head and somewhat hazy hue. Nose is solid but a little one (citrus) dimensional, although there is maybe something tropical (passionfruit?) in there as well.

This has a interesting hop combo and enough body and depth to satisfy for me. A little more carbonation than I'd like for just a second but doesn't have the full on seltzer feel you get from some of the really thin examples of this style. A pretty decent compromise, I would definitely have this again.
