Smell is really good, a lot of floral notes. However it's too hoppy for my taste

12oz can (DOB of 05/27/15) served in a tulip glass.

Appearance: Hazy orange amber. Thin white head with some fine strands of persistent lacing.

Smell: Citrus, orange rind, leafiness, hint of honey.

Taste: Hoppy - grapefruit, fresh cut tropical fruit, leafiness. Quick sweet middle which has a hint of honey to it. The finish is bitter and lingering, part grapefruit and just a bit metallic.

Mouthfeel: Smooth. Light prickly carbonation on the tongue. A little sticky on the teeth.

Overall / Drinkability: Quite nice - very hoppy but not a palate wrecker. I suspect I could easily have a 16 oz serving of this before I would be done for the evening with this beer, and maybe I could have another 12oz can before I tired of it. Went nicely with spicy adobo pepper cashew chicken and I suspect would go with a wide range of spicy foods as well. Overall, a well done IPA.

12oz can poured into a tumbler glass

A- a clear amber, with a little bit of off white head. Some ok lacing.

S- Lots of hempy, piney, touch of grapefruit hop notes, with some crusty bread.

T- Aggressively bitter. Lots of oily, piney, hempy, tobacco ridden hop notes. Touch of ruby grapefruit. Minty on the backend.

M- lighter side of medium, with ample carbonation. Very drying on the finish.

O- it's unique, but I can't say I'd seek it out.
