12 oz can a bit past the BB date stamp served in a pint glass in GA.
Pours black-brown; opaque in the glass; good tan head.
Surprisingly hoppy aroma but the flavor has the expected domination by malts. A good bit of coffee plus hints of chocolate and just a faint touch of smoke in the aftertaste. Very smooth, creamy, full body with appropriate carbonation.

Pours a dark brown, khaki head with moderate lacing.
Hints of coffee and roasted malts. Hints of coffee in the taste, just enough roast to keep it interesting. Smooth creamy texture, nicely carbonated. I read where some thought it was more of a porter, IMHO, if it's mot an Imperial Stout, it is a porter. Whatever you call it, I thought it was pretty damn good.

Gave it a 3.5 on feel simply because it's supposedly a stout but drinks like a coffee-forward brown ale. I have no problem with this beer -- I love coffee stouts, but this is not a stout. It's an extremely drinkable brown.

Delicious beer if you’re into a coffee porter.

Poured from a can, Best by 4/03/18
Looks nice, pours a silky brown black with a nice thin brown head.
Smell is light roasted coffee, dark roast malts. Pleasant but not as much as I'd expect for a coffee stout.
Taste is great, lots of dark roasted barley malt and noticeable but light coffee. It's well blended with the stout, rather than being big and coffee-focused.
Pretty good feel, medium full body but a bit more sharp from the roast malts and hop bitterness and a dry finish. Not as soft and smooth as I'd expect for an oatmeal stout.
Overall pretty tasty! Picked it up due to the label, and happy to try it. The coffee is not super strong but contributes to a nice overall beer.

Served in a pint glass right from the can.
Appearance: Thin brownish black body with medium to heavy bubbles to the body creating a tan head rising somewhat high (maybe two finger's length) and settles quick with no lacing after a few sips.
Smell: Light coffee which comes off a bit bland. Smells good but light.
Taste: Bitter coffee with easy malts. I say that because it not super palate intensifying. It's the complexity of the flavors, a light dark chocolate, little coffee and mixture of sweet and bitterness comes out just right.
Mouth: Medoum to heavy carbonation and average stickiness but not bad.
Overall: Good beer, great gift from a good friend. Personally if you're a fan of oatmeal stouts or just stouts in general an absolute great pick up. Salud!
