Mane Man is an English Brown Ale featuring English hops to complement its nuttiness. Based in a mash of Maris Otter, Victory, and chocolate malts, Mane Man's body is strong, yet caring. To sweeten the deal, East Kent Golding and Bramling Cross hops lend full, fruity notes of black currant. So cuddle up in the cold seasons with a Mane Man. It's like an electric blanket - for your mouth.

Man Man has a medium, beige head and a brown appearance, with lots of powdery, suspended sediment and a bit of lacing. The aroma is of barley gluten, syrup, and brown bread crust. It has a similar taste, with minimal bitterness. Mane Man has a low-medium body and a mostly-dry finish.

Bottom of the can stamped "wet your beak by 04/25/19." Well, sounds pretty fresh to me.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a fairly dark amber to brown color with a small eggshell white foamy head. Slightly falling off at a decent pace.
The aroma had a fantastic blend of sweet toasty nuts with some roastiness and caramel/toffee malts playing with a light earthy sweetness.
The flavor copied the aroma fairly spot on with a substantial sweetness of nuts, earth, toast and caramel/toffee malts. Light vanilla. Mild aftertaste of nuts, caramel/toffee, earth and vanilla.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a fine sessionability about it. Good carbonation and ABV. Extremely smooth finish with nuts, vanilla and dry earthiness.
Overall, I don't see this as an American styled brown ale but a pretty damn nice English styled one.

12oz can. Poured out a semi-opaque, brown color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled nutty and roasty with a touch of chocolate. Nice blend of roasted malt, nuts and mild chocolate.

Taste: smooth, nutty caramel malt, earthy English hops, semi sweet. Same with the nose. Mahogany hue, mostly clear, tan foamy head with nice lace. Medium to med/full body. nice character. 40 IBUs

Appearance: Pours a hazy chestnut, caramel-amber. Head is initially full, dissipates into a thin lace
Smell: very fragrant--I pick up pit fruit peach, apricot, yeasty malt, brown bread, raisins
Taste: all malt, very little hop bite, nicely sweet without being cloying, dries on the palate sooner than you would expect, nicely balanced, yummy, full and rich
Feel: not as thick on the tongue or as chewy as I would have expected--feels kind of thin in light of the flavor punch it delivers, maybe a little too bubbly for my taste, but pleasant enough.
Overall: I'm not a brown ale fan, generally, but this is a lovely find. Very satisfying. Seems a very solid example of the style, a nice reference against which to compare other brown ales.
So many beers are oddly flavorless but when you're working on one of these you know you're drinking something special. Nicely done, Finch!
