Bliss Wine & Gifts

Stopped in here during a tasting/meet-and-greet with the brewer from Small Town down the street a ways. It's mostly a wine shop/wine bar, but they seem to be embracing beer more and more as the days progress. They have no taps, but they serve single bottles from the fridge for either on-site consumption or carry-out. Nothing major or rare will likely be found here, but they tend to carry some pretty nice selections. Of real interest is their weekly beer tasting on Thursdays. They bring out six or seven beers for the patrons to sample. Recently, Small Town has brought in some of their brews for some makeshift taps, allowing the people of Wauconda to taste what their hometown brewer is up to. Overall, I wouldn't really call this place a must-visit or a necessarily regular destination, but it is a great place in the Wauconda area to grab some good beer, taste some new ones, and enjoy the most local of brews available.
