A great spot for beer... They have a ton of options on tap and even more in bottles. They don't tend to have a ton of the rare stuff (although they did have Parabola on tap once), but if you're looking for a solid bar with options no matter what you're in the mood for this is the place. The space is cool but can get really crowded and doesn't have that small bar feel. The food is just ok, although the perogis are a fav. Wish they published the beer list somewhere online so you can see what's on tap at any given time but they don't.

What I had: Pretty Things Jack D’Or, Allagash Black, and Pretty Things Meadowlark IPA on tap, a few white wines for my girlfriend.
What I liked: Attractive, winding bar, nice cosmopolitan vibe, incredible draught list, efficient bartender made good recommendations, all beers are served in their proper, branded glassware, decent prices.
What I disliked: They’re a little fanatical about last call as they literally took our drinks away a few minutes after 1am. Not sure what that’s all about. Aside from that we really enjoyed our time here.
Would I go back? Yes. We didn’t get to try any food but it was clear from our visit that Meadhall is a first class bar.

Hella selection on tap. Bartenders are friendly. Overall a great place with high ceilings and a happy feel. I recommend the Pretzel (All 3 varieties are out of this world!)

Ran into this place by accident while on a trip to Boston. Impressive selection, 100 taps. Nice atmosphere, clean and quiet for the most part. Bartenders seemed to know their wares quite well which was nice. Only real downside is that the really desirable beers on the menu were all sold out. Literally the top 3 I wanted were sold out despite being displayed on the board. Perhaps an unfortunate coincidence but a disappointing one nonetheless.

An enormous section of beers. Huge bar, lots of space. Food is ok, but nothing special. They do get a fair amount of specialty brews. If you're heading to Cambridge Brewing Company, you should swing by.

Stopped in for dinner while in town for EBF. Great atmosphere on a Saturday night. Meadhall is so spacious that it is busy but doesn't feel crowded. They have a very cool bar that is horseshoe shaped with taps in both sides. Our waitress was great. She was responsible for several tables in our section but was very friendly and attentive. Meadhall has a extensive beer list. One that you cannot find online, so you just have to go. They give you a menu but there is also a giant chalkboard on the wall, and I mean giant. It's kind of daunting. I kept mentally checking off beers I wanted to try but ultimately never ordered. The menu is what I would consider a classic Gastropub menu, a little bit of everything. I had the Pork Chop Schnitzel which was great. Others in my party ordered various items, burgers, meatloaf, pork sliders and everyone was very happy with their orders. Overall Meadhall is a place I would recommend to the beer fan who is looking to hang out for a drink or to sit down for a meal.

Went here on my birthday over the weekend. Meadhall is located conveniently near Kendall Square off the Red Line. When you enter the rotating door, you are greeted by a huge circular bar surrounded by glass windows. The bar/restaurant had tables by those windows, near the kitchen area, and on a second flood location with plenty of seating by the bar. I really liked the open feel thanks to the large windows; it helped the bar/restaurant seem more open and bright.

I was immediately overwhelmed by the huge tap list. About 100 taps that the bartender told me rotates regularly. The bar was heavily staffed so I not only felt well attended to, but I struck up good conversations with several different bartenders. I had four beers such as Allagash, Revival, Lamplighter, and Lexington Brewing. I also had their poutine dish as a small dish meal, but it was so hearty and decadent, I felt as if it was a large entree.

Overall, this was a fantastic spot to spend on my birthday. Great service, open atmosphere, incredible tap selection, and really good food.

a tremendous 100 tap selection. beers served at right unobtrusive carbonation. the culture however is pints or small samples, not ideal for beer nerds.

Vibe: A bit too dark at night, sometimes, but otherwise good. Quite enough to talk comfortably to people at your table but not quiet enough to be weird. Love the heavy bar. The taps are beautiful.

Quality: They try to serve beer in its branded glassware, which is great. Prices are fair for the area, though can be high considering they sometimes give 10 or 12oz pours depending on the style and ABV.

Service: Sometimes you're stuck waiting for longer than you would expect, especially if you're just getting a few brews. Wait staff sometimes impatient considering they have a gazillion options to pour through.

Selection: They have a million taps, what more to say?

What you'd expect from a beer hall that has 100 taps. Pretty solid selection with lots to choose from but the atmosphere was pretty boring and predictable. Service was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable.
A short enough walk from Lord Hobo.

Great location and an extensive selection of beer. Unfortunately the place is always packed which impacts the service and the food doesn't meet the standards set by the beer. If you are a beer lover take 5 more minutes and walk to Lord Hobo.

really great atmosphere with an infinite amount of offerings. the bar is huge which makes service a bit slow and little frustrating at times. Food is a little strange but they have taken steps to make it better in the last year or so. I would go here a lot more if they had a website with an updated tap list.

Went on the recommendation of a colleague. Beer selection was fantastic, food options looked diverse (had the chicken panini). Prices were reasonable, just wished I wasn't always looking for/or waiting for the bartender's attention. It was lunch hour, but that's still no excuse. Would revisit and hope for better wait service.

This place is hip. Lots of plaid shirts and undercuts, however, this is Cambridge 2015. Meadhall cannot be beat, great service and arguably the best craft beer selection that side of the river with lots of local brews on rotating taps. Very tasty bar food including a surprisingly delicious bratwurst and spaetzle.
