Roll inside, clean, some dude playing adult contemporary acoustic guitar at the front of the store. They call it Total Wine after all.

Pleasantly suprised, this is a good sized Total Wine. They carry some of my favorite cabs at good prices. Located in the back right corner is the beer. They have a limited release section, and bam, I dive over some lady's shoulder to grab the last 4 boxes of Abacus. Score! Continued to be amazed by the fact that they have Flying Fish (NJ), a ton of beers from WA/ID (Scuttlebutt, Pike, Diamond Knot, Fish Tale, Laughing Dog, Grand Teton).

Decent belgian selection, no Cantillon (that's what Craft is for) though, jeez I must be getting spoiled. Actually, their selection of belgians seems to be heavy on the sugar added stuff. Prices are nice, only paid $15 a pop for the Abacus. No Russian River, but nobody in NV has them, but since Total Wine in CA carries them, I held out a sliver of hope.

The organization of the beer is difficult to discern, I found Brewdog's Hardcore IPA with the wine cooler area. Ended up dropping $120 at my first Total Wine in Reno stop, will definitely be back. Another store was supposed to hold Abacus for me, didn't, sold it out, didn't call me, I found it at Total Wine instead, so I'll keep going to Total Wine. Employees were irrelevant. Some better than average looking chicks in the beer aisle shopping for spontaneously fermented belgians, double score.

Craft, Total Wine, Ben's on Lakeside. . . Way to go Reno, you're not the wasteland you were only 6 months ago.

EDIT: This place employs beer posers. Lame kid insisting that the Bruery makes their Brewdog line of beers (Old World RIS etc. . . ). Flat, out, wrong, and refuses to acknowledge it. Keep on posin' kid.
